   Navalny has his 3.5 year prison sentence reimposed less 1 year spent in home detention. Same process, he will be given a year or so to consider his options and then released if he promises to move to Germany or Canada or anywhere.
Putin needs to get this under control pretty quickly or he will be faced with a challenge from an actual hard-liner.

	He chose not to before and was given another warning. Most are not afforded that consideration. If Putin wanted him dead he would be dead now. Putin is aware his tenure is in a perilous position. Unclear who his challenger would be but I was surprised last year looking through the Chinese foreign ministries site where they have complete diaries, a Russian parliamentarian and former or current secretary of the security services visited China on a full state visit and officially met with Xi. Most unusual normally only Putin would be afforded a full state visit and one on one with the President. Cant remember his name though.
