Yep, sure did - in 1981 and 1982
Australian racing is only good up to 1400m in terms of world standards when it comes to depth/quality in numbers

Correct TJ. But his Melbourne record reads
Caulfield 6 starts for two wins
Flemington 4 starts 0 wins
Mooney Valley 3 from 3
As an aside, think he won 22 from 25 in Sydney.
