Hello,
during the thread "Easter sales" a Japanese Sire was mentioned 'Epiphaneia'. Much to my astonishment he has a very familiar damline, because he traces to "Prompt Payment" (by Rockefella) and further back to Noor Jahan (a FS of Bull Dog/Sir Gallhad). "Prompt Payment" (imported during the 50's) is represented in Germany via her descents "Protektor" (by Acatenango, very though racehorse, ran until 9 year old in Stakes Races and later Sire) and last year 'Poldi Lieblings' won the "Ratibor Rennen" (Group 3 Race for Juveniles).

From the same Fam. 16-a are Chief Singer, Distant View, Pleasantly Perfect, Gothenberg, Gypsy River etc. Winged Love from same Family stood a few years in Germany, before he was sent to Ireland. A lesserknown Sire named Sanctus is the damsire of 'Miesque'.

regards, Ticino
