I've been following the Tavistocks - big day yesterday with Tavidance, Travimyfriend (got $12) and had them going into Curragh in multis - the wrong Tavi!!! had a good go at the quinella with Curragh, Bedford and Dogmatic too - nutted by my old mate Lord Durante ... Knight Mariner should have won the Winx Guineas too - threw it away ducking in about 3 times in the straight.

In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

I should have backed this guy yesterday based on his Caulfield record alone, but was turned off by the Good 3 track condition. He’s seemed more at home in rain affected tracks in recent campaigns.
Nevertheless, was good to see him flashing home late over 2000m. Would still love to see the stable get him out to a staying trip given that pedigree.

Closing rapidly late again today for a narrow 2nd place (& I was win only today ).
Please find a 2000-2200m race for this guy next time.

Another honest effort by this guy today for 3rd over 2040m at MV.
Not sure he’s really comfortable at MV, seems to have more affinity with Caulfield & Sandown. Still love to see what he can do over 2400m (given the 2 miler Daria’s Fun is his grand dam) but that said he doesn’t seem to stand up to long campaigns so might be doubtful that we see that this time in.

Well finally has his first crack at 2400m today in the first at Caulfield. Only took to his 8yo season & 6th run this prep!
But he’s run into a promising one in the much younger Tooradin. I avoid betting in fields < 8 runners but good luck to Bedford anyway.

Disappointing no blinkers as he doesn't over race with them on. They must be worried about very slow pace.

Serviceable hurdle debut running 3rd at Pakenham today. But probably limited to the 3200-3400m distance range as his max trip.

A welcome return to the winners circle for this guy at Coleraine today - first win since July 2020!
Certainly has had a promising start his jumping career well & a very welcome $2.70 collect for me today

Fantastic training performance to get Bedford over the 3300. It's a real shame he can't stay as he is a good jumper and the fences would be ideal. Really looking forward to the jumps debut of TIE at hopefully Ballarat.

My good old friend Bedford wins over the jumps again, taking out the Dreschler Hdle at Pakenham yesterday.
Great to see him having a late career renaissance and beat home some well performed hurdlers like Bell Ex One, Saunter Boy and Instigator. Not sure about stretching him to 4250m of the Grand National Hdl but the JJ Houlahan Hdl late next month would be ideal - 3200m at Ballarat where it’s bound to be his favoured heavy track conditions
