He is clearly investing in good horses with great pedigrees but they are not getting anywhere near their potential.

I notice that Waratah have transferred a few horses from established trainers like Richard Freedman & John Thompson to a guy called Steven O’Halloran.

Looks like he’s only taken his licence out very recently, after having been one of Gai Waterhouse track work riders.

A couple of their old warriors Maurus and Master of Arts have both been recently retired.
