hi all royal Ace who has a very interesting pedigree to say the least, has moved to Stockwell @ Diggers Rest and may develop into a useful bread and butter Sire for those of us at the lower end of things

Potential of Royal Ace at Stud: Analysis and Linebreeding Recommendations

Royal Ace presents notable potential at stud, particularly when considering his impressive female lineage. Female lineage often provides insights into genetic stability, traits passed through mitochondrial DNA, and the influence of standout mares on breeding success. Below is an analysis of his potential and the suggested bloodlines for linebreeding based on the names provided, bearing in mind the elephant in the room with his pedigree is quite obviously Danehill and his family, especially His female line

Casino Prince

Royal Ace, a son of Danehill’s grandson, Casino Prince, exemplifies durability and versatility across his commendable racing career. Opening his racing career as a 3yo and winning at his 1st 2 starts on the way to accumulating 43 starts, including 9 wins and 18 placings, Royal Ace amassed over $380,000 in stakes earnings, with victories spanning 1200m to 1600m. His achievements mirror the traits of his sire, Casino Prince, who himself was a stakes winner renowned for his successes in the G1 Chipping Norton Stakes and Alister Clark Stakes over 1600m, as well as the Group 2 Skyline Stakes at 1200m.

Casino Prince has sired an impressive 22 stakes winners, including prominent Group 1 victors like All Too Hard, a successful sire, and Escado. Moreover, his burgeoning influence as a broodmare sire is evidenced by at least seven stakes winners, including Shadow Hero, a three-time Group 1 champion, and the promising Nepotism, Champagne Stakes winner. This legacy of excellence provides a strong foundation for incorporating Royal Ace’s line into thoughtful breeding strategies.

Evaluation of Royal Ace's Potential

Royal Ace's female lineage along with Danehill is the cornerstone of his breeding appeal.

The Dam line of Royal Ace, is nothing short of sensational

Beginning with his Dam She Can’t Wait, a daughter of internationally successful sire of over 2000 individual winners including over 200 stakeswinners, More Than Ready, who is also a sire of Sires in Sebring, Perfectly Ready, and Prized Icon, and US import, More Than Looks who stands his 1st season at Widden Victoria

The first two dams were multiple winners, but the action starts at his 3rd Dam Quat’sous an unraced full sister to the great Mare La Prevoyante, an 11-time stakeswinning triple G1 winning daughter of Buckpasser, the winner of prestigious G1 events like the Matron stakes, Spinaway, and Frizette stakes, who tragically died in the unsaddling paddock after the running of the Florida hcp with a collapsed Lung. Her toughness and ability personified by Her 9 Stakes wins as a 2yo, and exemplified further, with this stallion Royal Ace with

Quat’sous, and La Prevoyante are daughters of the immortal Northern Dancer’s full sister Arctic Dancer
