Hello,
I was quite surprised to spot a wellknown Aussie family in the latest edition of the "BBAG Yaerling Sales" (Iffezheim - Baden-Baden, Friday 2. Sept. 2022), www.bbag-sales.de (English version available)

Lot 17, already named Treno (FR) (Ross - Travelcard by Iffraay, colt foaled 23.04 21) is from the "Canny Lad" family and to make things even more interesting is bred 2x3 Canny Lad/Canny Lass FB/FS.

regards, Ticino

Hi Ticino I wish they wouldn't cross closely to Canny as he had leg issues.  Not so bad between the syblings but still!  But that said a close inbreeding often gets results as a broodmare so hopefully Treno can run.

Central Line dam of Travelcard is back in Australia having been sold by Darley and is now at Twin Palms Stud.  She will keep the dam line going her last four foals are all fillies.

Hello,
some good news! The above mentioned Colt "Treno" was sold at the BBAG-Yearlings Sales yesterday.

He was purchased by "Stall Hangover" for 20.000 Euros ~ 30.000 AUS $. I can imagine, if he was sold
in AUS let's say by "Inglis". He had fetched much more money, for your standards probably a bargain buy.

For more results, see: bbag-sales.de

Regards, Ticino
P,S.: It possible in Germany tor run your horses with an assumed name.
