So taking $5 when $6 was available elsewhere was still an attractive option.
Unibet give a full value deposit match - however only at 25% - so works out roughly the same as SB

Highly recommend you guys have a good look at bet365. Primarily a sports betting company - however offer an attractive racing package across their offers - including a guaranteed SP if you have taken a lower price earlier. Plus select bet returns & top exotics across all 3 totes. And sports prices on high number selection sports are much , much better - probably 25% at least on average. Cycling / golf in particular.

Have a mate who is a trader with them - harness in the main. They are one of the few Corporates that still have Traders aggressively monitoring markets vs just using software with sophisticated filters applied. So they can represent a point of difference at times.

The one issue I do have is their regular habit of carrying out site maintenance mid-afternoon (UK based) Angry

Without doubt the best of the corporates.
Although, the miserable pricks seem to know who I want to back in early markets, always seem to be big unders.

The other day I had a double in which both legs drifted after I bet.
Originally I was looking at a $1200 result, was paid over $2100

I kind of look at Bonus Bets as a form of concession betting.

God Concession betting - that brings back memories Rhino. As a young bloke spent some time in NZ & used to love the doubles betting where you got a concession dividend if your second leg ran second - or something like that. Don't know if they still have it - but i liked it at the time.

Yes - just happens too often. Do they personalise responses do you think ? I'm starting to think they do

Agree. Just seems to consistent on Fixed Odds Bet Return races that your bet gets intercepted to a lower offer. Is there a law that's stopping them offering different prices at the same time ? Don't think there is

For example - if you tick the Bet Return box to use a Free Bet Return - does that trigger a reduced Fixed Price offer ?

it can move easily in between selecting the bet and submitting it. But when you accept the decrease, it always seems to go back to the original price afterwards.
anyway I might try that 365

Seems to me that SB do the odds have decreased just before they jump, so everyone is panicking to get on.
So often your odds decrease, you cancel, and immediately the odds go back.

A mate of mine called them, called them out on systemically shortening, and threatened to close his account.
Their rep replied, I’ve closed it, refunded you, and told him he was effectively barred for life.

He reckons he struck a nerve with his claim, and is certain they are being sneaky.

Interesting. I think it is very dodgy. I'd love to have 3 or 4 SB Accounts side by side & try a few variations & see the responses.

Trouble is - I don't think they are actually breaking any law. They could argue they are reacting to risk, blah, blah.

I mean if they can apply filters to individual accounts re bet size, bet acceptance & similar - then it makes sense they could be offering different price parameters across accounts.

Yeah, we all said we were going to do that, but, of course, never remember when someone is actually trying to get on.

I’m sure it’s not illegal, but as sneaky as.
Doesn’t affect me in any case.

Once the boosts lost any value, I stopped betting with them
