Scheffler chips in for a birdie on the 3rd after his first two shots were awful. Smith takes a bogey after his first two shots were awful. With luck like that, Scheffler is bound to win.

Smith drops another shot on the 4th. Scheffler has been absolute rubbish off the tees but has now increased his lead to 4. This is too depressing. I'm going back to sleep.

As one commentator suggested if you are not in contention to win The Masters, but are just "off the pace " you will go out and take on the course with little to lose , but if the leaders play conservatively and happen to  falter you could make a run for the title. That is exactly what McIlroy did in his last round .
