I couldn't find a thread on this bloke - sorry if there is one.

I haven't seen an announcement regarding his 2021 fee and he isn't on the Stallions register for 2021, although Bon Hoffa is. Can anyone confirm where he is standing for the upcoming season and fee?

Wouldn't be surprised if he was exported Robbo , completely ruined racehorse after the Cox Plate imo.

I also checked through the named exported horses, and he has not gone O/S at this point.

He was at Bowness last year, stood at $12,500 + GST and served 152 mares. Just haven't heard anything re this year.

I have just had it on good authority that this bloke is still with John North at Bowness Stud.  A friend spoke to John this week, and he is still there for this coming season.

Along with Bon Hoffa that no one seems to want, yet he keeps ppopping up decent winners.  And that other horse who,s name escapes me, that is never advertised . Not sure why tho ?

I find it fitting that the first winner by D'Argento is from the Juliet line as is his sire So You Think.  Also has the nice cross between Redoute's and two from his female line in the mare.  Very well though out pedigree for a $15K find at the sales.

this bloke was one of the best at the sale IMO, his ears look small in the Pic,but most definately weren't

Unchanged fee for D’Argento

Southern NSW farm Bowness Stud has resisted the temptation to increase the service fee of its sole stallion, the emerging D’Argento.

With six stakes horses to his name, including South Australian Derby runner-up Statuario, D’Argento has made an encouraging start to his stud career as the sire of 21 individual first crop winners to date.

Despite the promising beginning, Bowness’ James Daly has elected to keep D’Argento’s service fee at $16,500 (inc GST) for the upcoming breeding season.
