Nothing to do with windsucking QA, most likely surgery to cure an inter-uterine problem.
Is advertised as both a racing and breeding prospect however the fact she's offered on digital suggests the owners have little confidence in her racing future and possibly concerned about her breeding prospects. Is very well bred so it'll be very interesting to see how she sells.

Was owned and assume bred by Corumbene Stud.
George Altomonte who died last year owned the stud. Maybe downsizing? George made his money (and lots of it) in the auto industry, owning The Alto Group. Met him a couple of times at BMW functions. As usual I have a racing story involving Alto BMW I’ll relate one day. Bob Peters in WA made his money the same way. Both very successful men and the industry is better for them having poured money into it. |

Regarding Quiz’s original question about surgical hymen opening, on its own from what I’ve read it’s not a problem for a broodmare unless there are underlying issues. And nothing to do with wind sucking.
I’d be more interested in what the previous embargo was about. We had a filly years ago who was well bred but a total barrier rogue. It would have cost more to get her right than it was worth. |

Vet certificate prior to racing again required after her dismal performance on 8th Jan. Was cleared again on 10th Jan so obviously not a vet issue on the performance. The Vet certificate attached to the sale mentions excessive hymen tissue and a cervical cyst, sounds like its just been a cosmetic makeover of vaginal area to assist urine pathway & prevent pooling.

I was intrigued as soon as I saw it - and wasn’t disappointed
![]() Actually a very interesting question from quiz, and informative responses from all the above (except for ‘one’ ![]() )Gotta love what horse people talk about without any decorum. I really want to post a photo of the bean I just proudly extracted but … no, BP, no one needs to see it

. I lack specialist Horse Breeding knowledge.....more suited to General Breeding ![]() But here's my real issue.... i'm even struggling in Joffs these days.....along with old timers like Whale, Fiddles & even PT. Been taken over the the young uns like Muss, Slowdown,Carl ?, Stayer, TJ, Letters, Tom & Guru......& i haven't even got to the young pretty ladies in Furious, Ponies, Acacia & JJ et al. Or Tlaz who is in the middle somewhere. Even Freefall makes out he is only 40 (even though he is closer to 80). So think we need a TBV Seniors section (SA).....or in Second Chances case a Senior Seniors section (SSA) where we can happily talk to ourselves all day & feel wanted & relevant. |

Oneone, you can start by not referring to me as a “pretty young lady” - I find it seriously offensive on many levels.
