gday All, thought i would kick this off. apologies if i have missed a previous thread.
last Tuesday sh'bourne star had a colt by Astern. Not all went smooth with my wife flying to Melb for work the day of foaling and star not wanting to let the foal feed due to not letting it out of her site ! Very difficult to get a foal on a mare who wont stand still ! Anyhow with some help from vets and Armidale Stud we have a healthy colt at home now. Big thanks to those guys who helped me out at a time of real need. photos to come when he is looking good. cheers Slowdown

cheers Brave, yes lets hope so. no foals next year thank God. One to come and she is over at Armidale so hopefully she goes smoothly.
yep bloody fantastic how people help out when needed. No fun when you have had 1.5 hours sleep and you are on your own and the mare just keeps spinning away from the foal. i was very relieved when the vet arrived and we could work together.

Congrats mate, glad to hear all is well and you got a colt aswell by Astern. I had one born at home aswell and he looks alot like dad. Also have a Harry Angel colt over in Vic. Give a shoutout in the future if you ever need a hand again, as you know we aren't too far away and done plenty of foal assistance.

thanks Petite, comes home Wednesday and some confinement whilst she unfolds and strengthens. agree that we are fortunate to have a Harry. They have sold so well. i would be wrapped if she was Furious. They really seem to go well thus far anyhow.

gday all, have some nice foals on the ground this year that I have been involved in , none less than this little Girl by Johannes Vermeer from Indy Rock, both JV and Delaware are producing NICE foals, also have a Delaware Filly (no video) 1/2 sis to the Colt mentioned and with Video in the "interested" thread on the Racing Forum
