Thought Lot 156 was a very good type from a lovely family. First and second generations just starting out.
Any comments would be appreciated re her physique, walk and still image.

Thanks Nick. Very early days for Tagaloa, 8 starters for three place-getters thus far, two in city class. We have a small share in a Tagaloa that's showing promise but which hasn't yet debuted, and someone in the know told me Gai and Adrian have another that was going really well.
Any other comments about the filly, particularly any possible weaknesses, would be appreciated.

I think she looks good SC. Very solid type which might point to a sprinter but her pedigree suggests a miler/mid distance. Has both German and Japanese black type performers in the 3rd and 4th generations so that adds to her appeal.

Anyone see the bit on racing, com about the kid from Gilgai with his pin hook?
Looked like he’s only 14 or 15, bought one for $5K? From savings he’d accumulated. Said he’d be over the moon if it got $20k. When it got to $30, he looked like he’d won the lottery. Knocked down for $40k. Very impressive young kid. A real feel good little piece! |
