Very low price given his pedigree.  Didn't much like him on type but there must have been other reasons for such an underwhelming result.

But as you say Breeder, certainly one to watch.

Many are scoped pre sale so maybe not the best result. 
A more detailed examination I believe.

His front legs aren't pretty which would account for his price, but as we know plenty of winners have bad legs.

 Aclaim is probably not widely known to Australian buyers, at this stage or certainly would not be considered an "in fashion" sire.

If was was to buy a qtis registered yearling it would be an aclaim  , he has already produced Cachet in Europe and with only 70 odd  mare owners taking him up in Qld ,I think he may be a smokey and not a pumped up overpriced  spruik sure .

He could be a good mix for Spirit of Boom or Written Tycoon mares also.

Sales down 9% year on year, was it the weather, the beer not cold enough, or is there an economic downturn?........those figures should ring the alarm bells, lets see what the SYD summer stats say, if betting turnover keeps diving the way it has our foal crops will drop for sure.

Lot 560 in the Classic Sale, I mentioned earlier in this thread sold for $60K to T Button Qld. I've put it down on my list to follow, simply because the interesting breeding pattern.
