Talk about a bloodbath today with the weanlings. I know it is the cream of the crops going through, but most are genuinely good types, and passing in with 2k reserves :/ Whats going on?

Huge pass-in rate so far, though some were over-valued by their owners. Quite a few NSW weanlings were essentially dumped into the sale and didn't sell at all well or not at all. You couldn't give away an Extreme Warrior.
It appears the better bred and conformed ones generally sold well, the middle market was depressed, and the lower end couldn't possibly drop any lower.

I dont understand why the Toranado sold for 300k, yes, the Dams a good racemare, but has had 5 foals , with only 1 to race for nothing?
