Given that yesterday was the first grand final featuring two sides from the enemy side of the Barassi line in either code and considering the AFL has established 4 clubs on the enemy side, with 3 of those having made Grand Finals for 14 total appearances (Brisbane 4-2, Sydney 2-5 and GWS 0-1) out of a possible 48 Grand Final spots since the turn of the century, while the NRL can rightly point at the successful Melbourne Storm they've not had another club find long term viability in enemy territory, I think its safe to say that the AFL are "winning the war" of the Barassi line.

I would have thought ALL the non-NSW NRL Clubs have been successful to some degree. Some more than others granted.

When we get to see the AFL location for the GF being regularly shared around i think your point MAY have some credibility.
