   Hi all.
Well this is what VSP had to say about last Sunday's card, and how prophetic she turned out to be: "Tricky card, I don't have any confidence today. Good luck all, it might be needed!"

Here's the damage:

5 points: RFF - one winner all day for him
              Vixen - and just one winner for her too
              VSP - whoops the record appears to be stuck
              Second Chance - and no winners whatsoever for me.

6 points: PB - here we go again, a single winner for him and fancy running a drum with that score!

And so the scene was set for a grandstand finish with both Whale and PT on 8 points coming to the last,
the former with No 4 at $16 and the latter with No 9 at $8.  PT's led on the rail but was overhauled by a couple while Whale's selection was coming home hard out wide. A photo for 3rd was called for with the runners wide apart and after a delay No 9 came up on the semaphore board, a mere short head in front of No 4.  

So it's commiserations to Whale on a sterling if unrewarded effort and congratulations to PT on his narrow winning performance.
