    Posted: 07 Aug 2025 at 12:11pm
Hey there,

I've been posting in a few places, trying to find a good answer.

I've been trying to maximise my profits by using different bookmakers to try get the best odds.

Has anyone tried any odds comparison websites and got thoughts on pros and cons of each one and what's the best option??

I've tried Smart Odds Comparison (https://smartb.com.au/odds-comparison), Dynamic Odds (https://new.dynamicodds.com/) & Betwatch (https://www.betwatch.com/)

The Smart Odds Comparison website seems to be the most comprehensive, with the most bookies and most features. Dynamic Odds has the totes, and a lot of information available, but not many bookies, BetWatch says they have 50 bookies, but it's rare to see, and they don't have any extra bells and whistles

Anyone tried these, or any others? What's your thoughts on the best one?

Hey everyone, looks like not many people responded, so thought I've give a bit of a breakdown of my comparisons. I've decided to subscribe to SmartB SmartOdds because it has a lot more offerings. But I tried them all for a week or so and thought I'd put my thoughts into words. in order of preference.

  • SmartOdds - $29 a month
    • Pros
      • Compares odds from nearly 100 bookmakers, customizable layouts, price watch notifications, form guides; the most comprehensive; Free Racing Tips included, NRL, AFL, Soccer, Cricket Sports Comparisons; Free Sports tips included; includes a black book for racing, and what they call Smartbook for sports
    • Cons
      • Not as established; is a little overwhelming with the sheer amount of functions and options; has had a couple of glitches in the past week with odds from past races dissapearing
  • Dynamic Odds - $35 a month
    • Pros
      • Deep BetFair integration, TAB Totes, customizable alerts, advanced form tools; most established with pro-level features.
    • Cons
      • Higher cost, occasional glitches, very few bookmakers
  • BetWatch - $29 a month
    • Pros
      • Live odds from 50+ bookmakers, strong BetFair integration (back/lay prices at depth), easy-to-use interface; direct competitor for racing markets.
    • Cons
      • Advertises 50 bookmakers, rarely see that many on a race; no TAB Totes; very limited functions and information
  • Punters.com.au - Free
    • Pros
      • Broad racing/sports odds, market movers, fluctuations; simple and accessible.
    • Cons
      • Fewer customizations, no deep BetFair functions, basic tote views without alerts.
  • Odds.com.au - Free
    • Pros
      • Compares leading bookies, user-friendly for quick checks.
    • Cons
      • Lacks advanced analytics, limited BetFair/tote depth; no personalization.
  • Australia Sports Betting - Free
    • Pros
      • Stats, predictions, comparative odds for sports/racing.
    • Cons
      • Minimal integrations; not as racing-focused or feature-rich.
SmartOdds is the clear winner, everything about, from the fact that they've published 2 updates in the last 3 weeks to add more stuff, and added more bookmakers as they come out. I can't see why you'd use any other one.

They're also advertising a mobile app, which looks like it's been removed from the app store. But would be great to be able to have an app with push notifications for my watch list.

It's got a 14 day free trial as well, so definitely worth the extended trial.

No need to have 100 bookmaker site comparisions, as the majority are white labels controlled by a couple of providers.... So they ain't competing on price.

Why would you need both Neds, Ladbrokes?

Why would you need both Bet Deluxe, BetNation, SurgeBet when they are controlled by Noah etc..
\
And finally... When you need to have funds in various sites to actually have a bet, why would even need some of those others.. Gone are the days (for now) of a true bookies ring.

PL Does look like that.. 3 posts on TB, then comes out with I'm looking for a good site, and then does a sales pitch on one, as if that doesn't look pre-organised.

Look forward to your other racing thoughts on other threads.
