Gewan (2c Night Of Thunder x Grey Mystere, by Lethal Force) just won the Gp3 Acomb Stakes over 7 furlongs at York defeating Italy & Distant Storm. I liked his win as Italy looked to be finishing over the top of him in the final furlong but Gewan fought back & was drawing away again on the line. ... and he's a grey! |

The Gp1 Dewhurst Stakes for 2yos over 7 furlongs at Newmarket has
been won by Gewan (2c Night Of Thunder x Grey Mystere, by Lethal Force)
defeating Gstaad & Distant Storm. Back in
August, Gewan won the Gp3 Acomb Stakes at York before a disappointing
4th in the Gp2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster. He has now had 4 starts
for 3 wins. |
