After 45 years of lived experience breeding racehorses, & at the same time reading every document I could source on breeding you would think I'D HAVE MORE SENSE

Now whether is a challenge or sheer stupidity I'm not sure but I purchased 2YO paddock reared colt & filly. They broke in extremely well. Quick learners, excellent temperament & nice movement, but now the challenge lies ahead.

I bought them because I really liked both of them on type & I was impressed by their pedigree structure.
The cost so far: $20K    $7k purchase in total for the pair; $4K ea for breaking in then agist , pre-train thus far etc

I don't excpect an early return . One run each at 2. Hopefully late autumn 3YO  milers & then 4YO+  2000mt runners

So feel free to comment, criticise or watch with interest

I like the filly Glencoe, the bottom line from Kasimova on very nice, with anchors from he last century there in the sires for the next few removes
I have 26 G1 winners bred on the red ransom Nijinsky cross in 6 gens including Sunlight Trapeze Artist Yankee Rose etc, The broader Roberto Nijinsky cross yields 78 G1'w on my DBm including Dansili, Got the speed as you say with the potential for the mile, good luck with both

change is simply a destination on a journey reached by taking the first step (i said that) lol

Yep, the filly for me too.  Lovely family gone a bit quiet.

The colt got me in because is a 100% clone of Savabeel
And a balanced pedigree like the fillies is so hard to find
