Afraid I've added a Too Darn Hot-Light up the Room.  And the Extreme Choice -Kurame for $100K too cheap.

Glencoe -- Simon Zahra got your Lot 119 pick very cheap. Even if it doesn't race it has great b/mare potential (on paper).

Also Trapeze Artist isn't like his sire.  They might be different colours but they are the same build!

furious]Afraid I've added a Too Darn Hot-Light up the Room.  Lovely female family that we've had stakes success with And the Extreme Choice -Kurame for $100K too cheap saw he go through and thought the same. Must have had faults but has gone to Blue Blood/Maher.

Yes has to be something wrong with most of the better pedigrees.  But I can't mark to $1,000,000 ones to follow so like to operate at this level.  Yes I thought you'll like the female line!

If my client was looking was looking for a 3yo autumn 2000metre filly I would have encouraged him to buy it notwithstanding
And to rub salt into the wound I bet thats what he may want me to llook for in Melb or adel

Guess I have to follow 318 also.  Didn't look closely at her before but a filly from that family might be nice to follow!

Lot 436 went for $170,000.00 half to one growing in the paddock here! This filly at home is by the Autumn Sun, and I've put my hand up for a little share!

Mick might see 530 as a HK prospect.   Trial & sell.    Good business if it works

Pedigree Analysis: Classic Sale Day 3 (Sydney)

Evaluation of Lots 577, 589, 595, 596, 597, 611, 628, 636, 638, 658, 672, 712, 732, 739, 753, 759, 773, 786, 795

Methodology and Criteria for Ranking

This assessment rates the G1/group racing prospects of selected lots from Day 3 of the Classic Sale in Sydney. Each lot is evaluated using the Vuillier dosage index (horse, sire, dam), Pedigree Profiles and Index, with careful attention to both the horse's and dam's dosage values. Ratings out of 10 reflect the balance between speed and stamina, and optimum distances are estimated from pedigree profiles. The ranking offers a composite view of genetic potential for top-class racing, with special emphasis on Dundeel progeny and key ancestors influencing stamina and class.

Summary Table: Ranked Lots by Group Potential

Lot

Optimum Distance

G1/Group Potential Comments

Rating (/10)

672

1800–2400m

Classic stamina with Dundeel's proven influence; Sadler’s Wells and Zabeel present, ideal for Derby

9.5

753

1600–2200m

Dundeel again; balanced profile, strong maternal stamina, Galileo lines. Classic and intermediate Group races.

9

795

1600–2000m

Excellent middle-distance balance, strong family depth. Guineas/Derby Group potential.

Versatile, with speed and late stamina. Suits Guineas Type WFA targets.

8

739

1400–2000m

Strong miler/intermediate profile. Group potential at 1600–2000m.

7.5

786

1600–2000m

Good stamina and balance; group potential early , could develop into a top contender at 2000m.

7.5

636

1400–1800m

Well-balanced with speed influences. Best at mile to 1800m, Group potential.

Leans to speed, but enough stamina for late-season group racing. Guineas type.

6.5

611

1400–1800m

Similar to 589; Guineas and Group  company, may stretch to 2000m.

6.5

712

1600–2000m

Balanced, lacks deep stamina of top lots. Group  potential, with development.

6

759

1600–1800m

Solid, not outstanding. May excel in listed/Group events over intermediate trips.

6

577

1200–1600m

Speedy profile, suited to sprints/mile. Group races unless stamina develops.

5.5

Similar to 577; early speed, miler at best. Unlikely to stay classic trips.

5.5

Detailed Comments and Rationale

  • Lots 672 & 753 (Dundeel): Both display ideal dosage and pedigree indices for classic distances, with Dundeel’s stamina and elite ancestors like Sadler’s Wells and Zabeel. Their Pedigree Profiles blend stamina and speed, BOTH also possess what every G1 winner by Dundeel has, giving them the strongest group potential in this group.
  • Top Rankings: Lots 672, 753 and 795 stand out with balanced dosage, strong maternal lines, and optimum profiles for Group 1 events over classic and intermediate distances.
  • Lower Rankings: Lots such as 597, 773, and 732 show sprint-oriented pedigrees, with lower indices and Pedigree profiles skewed to speed, resulting in a lower ceiling for Group  racing, particularly beyond 1400m.
  • Methodology: Rankings are based on holistic pedigree interpretation, balancing dosage, pedigree Profiles, and index values, and avoiding bias towards speed or stamina. Comments reflect likely optimum distances and realistic Group potential for Australian and international racing programmes.

This ranking should be used as a guide in conjunction with physical inspection and other selection criteria to maximise racing and breeding success.

change is simply a destination on a journey reached by taking the first step (i said that) lol

Just looked at the Imperial Lass SC.  Something looks off.  Is it me?

Sells for 200k to the Archibald team.

ps: I suggested Lot 485 was bigger and more athletic, though my contact at Inglis suggested the videos didn't reflect the realities.

Thanks SC and Furious, and Take2 who has given me a nice thumbs up on this one, she came with problems all good now, and I've treated her like my own so hopefully I can be part of her future.
