 I was given a case of lumbago for my birthday. Aged 75 years. I will not be going anywhere to celebrate getting old.

 The younger daughter sent me a happy birthday message, then put up two photos of our favourite calico feline. The first showed her putting a paw on the daughter's pregnant tummy...and the second showed her shock when the tummy moved. What a laugh.

The dad is a red head - the colour runs in Dad's family although Anne is brown like Mum.  He had beautiful auburn hair about an inch long when he was born.  The little girl apparently is the same!

Mind you I hope she doesn't inherit his accident prone nature.  He had three broken arms growing up and the doctors even thought he might of been in a violent home!  No he just fell over things, out of things etc.  Then he's chopped his finger off twice.  They saved it the first time but he has half a finger now.  Had some momental falls when snow boarding.  I don't know how my sister survived his childhood.

 My younger daughter once fell off a high cubbyhouse at a friend's home, while playing with her children. The friend called me, I came rushing over...only to find the daughter's head split open and bleeding like a stuck pig. 

 I wrapped her head in a towel and took her off to hospital. They put her in a neck brace, sewed up the wound...then asked me what I had hit her with.  Ouch

 I told them I wasn't even there...so how could I hit her?

 Took a bit of time...and a phone call to the friend...to convince them.

 Shocked
