La Liga is Scotland with more teams, Real Madrid are allowed to spend over double what anyone else can on wages, half the league is allowed to spend no more than double Mbappe's wage alone on their entire squad.

In competitiveness not quality.
Nobody outside of the big 3 have won it in 2 decades. Nobody else is allowed to spend anywhere near.the big 3 in wages, perpetuating the big 3 dominance.

For me the most wonderful shock was in Seria A Como 2 - Juventus 0 First win by Como over Juve since 1952! That's 73 years of waiting. Como have a future star in 21YO Argentine Nico Paz on loan from Real Madrid! Head coach is hmmmmm - Cesc Fabergas! BTW Been to a couple of times to Como - The scenery is assolutamente magnifico! |

Some of the worst defending I've ever seen in a pro football team, just woeful.

Hard to tell from the video.
Even when played at 0.25 speed. They were back to back. CR7 swung a decent elbow into his back. The victim paused before deciding to fall to the ground. Making me wonder about simulation.

In La Liga a 3rd consecutive draw by Real Madrid has them relinquishing top spot to Barcelona.
Barca has rarely fielded its best 11, so I'm not sure why it's not Betfair favourite. |

Real Madrid has been undergoing some upheavals recently, with their manager departing despite the team being 2nd in La Liga and still with a chance at everything.
Barcelona defeated them to win the Super Cup. Then Real was defeated by nobodies CF Talavera in the Copa del Rey. This morning Jose Mourhino's Benfica knocked them out of the UCL Top 8! Benfica's Ukranian goalkeeper Trubin headed in the last goal! Barcelona had been on a 11 game winning streak, but blew it over the weekend, to keep La Liga tight. |

Newcastle Jets have now won their last 7 matches and top the table.
Macarthur is 4th. These are rare positive signs for the labouring A-League. Strong provincial teams are a key part of bolstering the sport. |
