The Prince of Arrowfield Stud. Miss Finland x Deep Impact S17 colt. He is about to turn 2 years old and has been beautifully named BUCHAREST after friend Nick Columb. I saw his name in the early 2yo feature race nominations and can’t wait to see him again. He was quite possibly the most athletic foal I’ve ever watched through the 500mm lens I always use. Last time I photographed a stride like this it was on a strapping bay colt by Redoute’s Choice out of Azmiyna.
It takes a wise man a lifetime to grow a tree and a fool five minutes to kill one.

Bucharest - by Deep Impact out of Miss Finland.

2 starts for 2 wins.  Didn’t exactly blow his opposition off the track with his win at Newcastle today but a win is a win.

Currently 100/1 in Caulfield Guineas markets.
