Shawy, you know I love your updates but it’s too soon to talk about Space Rider … I put a small bet on him but accidentally typed in a much larger amount (yes yes put your frigging glasses on BP) … *panic* … and too late to cash out - he ran accordingly
![]() But BOL with him and all your other interests anyway

AA the other TBV syndicate members live about 600, 700, 920, 940 and 960 kms respectfully from Hawkesbury so probably won't be able to make it.

I’m a no show, have a grandsons birthday Friday and just recently returned from 2 weeks in Victoria. Have Dunna racing Thursday and Sunbliss racing Friday. Going to be a fun two days.
![]() We love attending and watching our horses and having weekends away. Will definitely be doing a few trips

TBH I didn't click that he was one of yours, I've just liked him and thought he was a good juicy chance. I'll be following him closely, but with the glasses on

Good luck Team Dunna Runna! Is our new-favourite Slipper-placed TBV-advised jockey riding him?

BP the dickwit on Racing.com gave his two top tips noting that they were both enjoying weight relief, entirely ignoring the fact it was a race restricted to claiming apprentices.

Sadly Bush Girl has just been retired.
Apart from a knee that couldn’t stand up to this prep after a bone chip operation some time ago, she’s as sound as a bell 💕 we gave her a year off but she reckons it’s time. My mate bred her to win an Oaks and all us Mudgee boys came on board. After Kerry Parker at Kembla worked his magic, she actually got to run in the 2024 ATC Oaks at Randwick. She started officially at 200/1 but 360/1 was freely available and one of our owners got 500/1 boosted! And had $500 EW 😂 She ran 7th, beaten less than 6 lengths after still being in front at the 250m mark. Brilliant effort given it was one of the strongest Oaks in years. Autumn Angel and Zardozi ran 1,2. Orchestral 3rd! Form was later stamped. Anyway…with Bush Girl to be retired we need to think about what happens with her. She’s nicely bred but if we put her up on an online sale she’d be lucky to make $1,000. So I’m thinking I might try and have a crack at breeding her. I’ll (we’ll) get her for “free”. More news will be available in the Breeding forum tomorrow but then I’ll be asking my mentors for their advice. Do we pass or breed and more importantly which stallion do we go to. BTW, if Furious, Take2, SC, Slowdown and many others (said mentors) read this…I’m coming’ for ya! |

Well an amazing journey you’ve had with her and why stop at that, sounds like she is meant to stay with your group and hopefully give you a great youngster to go forward with GL

Careful GAJ … she might end up agisted at your place!
![]() But I totally agree they should enjoy the next part of the journey with Bush Girl. It’s been wonderful so far. And some of the owners aren’t getting any younger *ahem*

Some???? Make that all lol. I remember someone saying that nobody who has a mare in foal or a yearling in the paddock has ever committed suicide. Or died in my case 👍 It would be 4 years if my crazy plan came to fruition. Just the thought means I’ll live longer 😂 How good would would it be if my best mate gave me his mare (a result of years of great and average breeding) and my first attempt is a cracker?!! No rivalry here 😇

Horses are why we wake up every day with ‘hope’ - you know it, GAJ, slowdown, and many others here, we all know it
