Are the So You Think horses genuine chances?

Good Idea - won G2 Adelaide Cup easily at 3200m. Distance is not a problem. Does he need to go up in class to win? Has 50kg.

Quick Thinker - quick back up from last week. Distance shouldn't be a problem? . Likes the ground wet

Realm Of Flowers: Probably flying under the radar, finished well in last start. Has 50kg. Maybe lacks some class but distance shouldn't be a problem (ran 2nd in Listed Sandown Cup behind Carif last November).

Also, Good Idea is looking to become the first horse since Gallic (in 2007) to win the Adelaide Cup and Sydney Cup double in the same year.

Quick Thinker is out of Saturday’s Sydney Cup Trainer says QT is feeling his near fore. It’s nothing major but have to be cautious. Hopeful they can have him right for Brisban

Just on Good Idea. He has 50kg. Has he been weighted properly? I would of thought 51kg to 52kg seeing as though he is a 3200m winner at Group 2 level.

After Young rascal SC, I asked a form guy, who knows the stable and the horses in it, about how they set their horses.

My guy said that you find the stable's horses, when they are lightly raced are set for specific races, to target owners and to try and be sold, similar to claimers in the US.

Last year they brought Young Rascal, but I was told they never brought him a ticket back home, he was always sent out here to run and be sold and OTI stepped up.

My info is that Favorite Moon is in the same situation. He has the for sale sign up and he was set for the first up run to show his ability.

I have not seen all the stables records, but their horses do seem to have a high rating and then drop off and take a few runs to reach that rating again.

That is the story I have been told whether it is right or not we will see.

Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Think you will find this to be the case for the majority of UK stables just below the top yards.

Why was the Chosen One 12 lengths off the lead in a slowly run 3200metre race. He was et a huge task to win.

The winner is an ordinary handicapper from Europe. Comes to Australia and wins a G1
