Coolmore has announced Justify and American Pharoah will not shuttle this coming breeding season. With their drop off in popularity it is not unexpected. Justify down from 140’s to 82 last year. AP down from well over 100 mares to a poultry 26 last season. I’ve made comment on here before that I consider AP a flop and he will never return, maybe go to South America or Eastern Europe. Justify may return if his first crop do well. I am a cynic and will predict he too will flop and not return. Another thread has done the figures and Coolmore will not have lost much if any with service fees charged in first seasons. Just a thought, check out sires ti5le race and can someone tell me why anyone would support these imported shuttle stallions. Most of top sires Aust bred.

Fusaichi Pegasus, street Sense, Animal Kingdom, above mentioned American Pharoah and Justify have all stood in Australia all, I think, on the shuttle. My scores for success are FP 5/10, SS 8/10, AK 2/10 and AP 2/10, with Justify yet to justify himself.

Thunder Gulch did indeed shuttle to Australia, I am assuming to Coolmore, from 1996 to 2003. Except &or the multiple G1 winner Point Given who won the Preakness among his 6 Gp1’s and filly Spain who won Brreders’ Cup Distaff, his other prom8nent SWs were here in Australia. His Aussie SWs were headed by Shot of Thunder (Toorak Hcp), Tempest Morn (SAJC Australasian Oaks and STC Ansett Aust Stks), Tully Thunder (SAJC Australasian Oaks) etc among his 17 SWs here in Aust. My rating would be 6.5/10

Ok So Big Brown is like the redheaded step Brother nobody talks about?
Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Eclipse Award winner.
Had Singo (owner) The Vinery (My mate Jerry) and Gai going full promotion about his Babies and wow what an outcome.
So many Mare owners call the two Big Browns their mares had as the lost years.
Now Standing at Irish Hill & Dutchess Views Stallions LLC, Stillwater, NY for 5k

I agree Carioca. Bute is bad and Lasix is not far away. A lot of studmasters and brood owners avoid both like the plague, with reason.

Big Brown seems to be doing mediocre in the States. Moved from 3 Chimneys then ??  But what are they feeding him ??   And his offspring ?
Never been keen on US dirt horses.   See all these hot as horses come out here .  Going to set the world on fire.  Remember Pentire Celebre ??   ( Spelling  Cry )
Calix wont be back  ??
I worry about the Scat Daddy mob and their legs .
However.  Danehill was US bred was he not  ??Wink

Three Chimneys announced today that Horse of the Year and champion sire Gun Runner, a six-time G1 winner and the second-leading all-time money earner in North America with US$15,988,500 in earnings, will be available to cover mares on Southern Hemisphere time.

"We have had heavy interest from farms and breeders in Australia and have already seen some great mares visit him in his first Southern Hemisphere crop, including Golden Slipper winner Estijaab", said Doug Cauthen, vice chairman of Three Chimneys' board of directors. "Being free of Danehill is something we have heard a lot from Australian breeders."

Three Chimneys is offering a AU$500,000 bonus if any offspring from this crop as well as foals resulting from his first Southern Hemisphere crop produce a Golden Slipper (G1) winner.

"We figured this would be a fun bonus and a possible one as well, as Slipper winner Estijaab herself is in-foal to Gun Runner," said Rebecca Nicholson, director of stallion nominations.

With you re the dirt performers AA, re Peintre Celebre, he is a handy infuence in many G1 pedigrees, Danehill the most obvious exception re US breds
Coolmore have a habit of bringing Stallions out here for cupl years and then desert the owners
The sire of our big boy Excelleration, Excelebration, a case in point, if not for Frankel, he would have been no1 in the woold rankings, they took him firstly back to Ireland fo NH, and he is now in Morocco, if he had've stayed here, either shuttling or permanent, he would have done pretty good imo
change is simply a destination on a journey reached by taking the first step (i said that) lol
