Scully was on FTA a couple of times weekly not that long ago on 7Mate or one of the other secondary channels. Can't remember which one.

I feel so sad to hear  Judith has left us.  Dont think I have ever heard a more beautiful voice. I grew up on the Seekers and still love their songs.  Just feel so sad .

My favourite Seekers song has always been the one they sing about the person despairing of ever locating that lost female sheep. One of their biggest hits.

 Big smileThumbs Up

Just abit of self promotion here.

I am about to start hosting my Sunday night music show on Ram fm 103.3 Goulburn Community Radio, and I am going to pay tribute to Judith Durham by doing something I have never done.

Each hour I have a featured artist and the artist has a triple play. Tonight for the first time Judith will get to be the featured artist for three of the four hours of my show so nine songs all up and not one of them is a Seekers song.

I have found an album she released where she sings a song for every capital city of Australia, and those songs will be the ones I am playing.

Okay back to the thread.

Just for the record the first hours featured artist will be another Australian artist in Archie Roach who we lost on the 30th of July.

You can listen in via our stream which is linked into our website ramfm.com.au

The shooters and fishers are seen as moderates in NSW. They cost the LNP by-elections not that long ago.

Judy Durham and Olivia Newton-John gone in a week.  Two great but different voices who I loved to listen to in my youth.  The world seems sad at the moment.

I reckon a few media will be camped outside Kylie's joint, now. There was a lot of speculation about her health when she returned for the Neighbours' send-off.

We've had 7 locals from our small town drop off since the end of June, mostly age and illness, but certainly a lot of sadness in the world at the moment.

JJ, I do not know about the media being camped outside of Kylie's house but she battled breast cancer in 2005, and underwent a lumpectomy and chemotherapy before she was declared cancer-free in February 2006. .

Bob...I think everyone knows all about Kylie and her breast cancer diagnosis. There is something called 'the Kylie effect' because she inspired so many women to have check-ups.

All I was saying is that she looked a trifle unwell when she was on screen, recently...and didn't want to speak to the press. She has returned to Melbourne, to live, after a long time living in England.

 Question

greenie lived about 4 houses away from me. I used to see him walking his dog every now and then.
Very nice man and quiet.
Such a sad day. Rumours about how he died are about, I'm not sure
