Saw this on another page, still funny LOL

Last week the Vic Opposition launched a five-point plan announcing how they’d manage Victoria’s transition out of the pandemic.

Only problem was, the official media release was missing the actual five-point plan.   OopsLOL

Not long out of rehab so he's back to see out his term.  What's the odds on a last-gasp attempt to remain as the endorsed candidate for Kew rather than stand down come November?:

Liberal MP Tim Smith to return to parliament

Liberal MP Tim Smith is returning to Victorian parliament three months after announcing he was quitting politics in the wake of a drink-driving crash.

Matthew Guy says wearing masks indoors is “confusing” after his party published photos of Liberal MPs mingling maskless indoors. The comment has led to widespread relief the party is not in power, given its confusion over a very simple rule. Police are investigating. #SpringSt

They weren’t confused last year when the ‘donned’ in Dan for the not putting on a mask when walking from the car to the office.

Torries cant be expected to remember the rules so obviously the rules must be changed.

Victorian Opposition Leader Matthew Guy has called for a change to mask restrictions as police review photos of him and other maskless Coalition MPs potentially breaching COVID-19 restrictions.

And the Australian nursing and midwifery federation response.

Coalition’s health care fantasy is insulting and exposes lack of knowledge

Nurses and midwives are outraged at Victorian Coalition Leader Matthew Guy’s hypocrisy and ignorance about how the Victorian public health system is staffed.

Coalition Leader Matthew Guy incorrectly claims in his op-ed in the ‘The Age’ today that Victoria has the country’s worst staffed hospitals despite NSW nurses and midwives striking last month to achieve Victoria’s shift-by-shift nurse/ midwife patient ratios.

PT, that release is attributed to the Nurses and Midwives "federation" , which is actually Australia's largest national union and professional nursing and midwifery organisation .U

Facts are facts:

Coalition Leader Matthew Guy incorrectly claims in his op-ed in the ‘The Age’ today that Victoria has the country’s worst staffed hospitals.

Victoria is amongst the best staffed health systems in the nation – legislated, mandated minimum nurse/ midwife patient ratios. The rostering mechanism is also the most efficient and cost effective and prevents short staffing and over-reliance on an expensive agency workforce. This is why surge workforce models must not be in place a day longer in our hospitals than necessary.

Victoria has this enviable staffing system because nurses and midwives stopped the last Victorian Coalition government’s attempt at ‘financial management’ in 2011 with its plan to substitute nurses with unqualified, cheaper nursing assistants to save (money).

Six years later, on 20 September 2018, the Coalition voted against working past midnight, ensuring that the Andrews Government’s ratio improvement amendment bill could not be passed before the end of its first term of government.

Say more. Is it factually incorrect in any way?

Suspect he's still in shock, bless him, after a per-head $110 for the three course and grog at Chez Bob's.  Which is clearly more than reasonable for snails, fish stew, burnt custard and an inconspicuous French champers.

More to the point Matthew Guy has been well and truly caught with his pants down, evoking Murphy's Law, possibly a hangover from his $200 per-head dine-in with alleged criminals at the truly abysmal Lobster Cave restaurant.

$1.38 to flap his ears. I would take those odds, although it might be difficult to flap one's ears.

Shadow Treasurer David Davis has admitted he had too much to drink at a gala event on Saturday after witnesses told The Age he was told to leave by two Liberal Party colleagues for behaving inappropriately towards colleagues and guests.

Four people who witnessed the behaviour of the senior MP at the Victorian Multicultural Commission dinner at the Convention Centre said Mr Davis was intoxicated and making people feel uncomfortable by touching, hugging and getting too close to people.

Hammered’ frontbencher David Davis told to leave event after hugging guests

Shadow Treasurer David Davis has admitted he had too much to drink at a gala event on Saturday after witnesses told The Age he was told to leave by two Liberal Party colleagues for behaving inappropriately towards colleagues and guests.

Four people who witnessed the behaviour of the senior MP at the Victorian Multicultural Commission dinner at the Convention Centre said Mr Davis was intoxicated and making people feel uncomfortable by touching, hugging and getting too close to people.

Multicultural leaders also raised concerns about the upper house MP with Liberal Party members following the event, a senior party source told The Age.
