I think our foal sharing has been quiet in recent years, but we have just one to show off this year.

Please add your babies for all to see..

Only a couple of days old.

by Verte Dieu x Carlaxna (Ire)

If it were a Girl, I would have named her Zampatti, but he will be Zampaddy!!!

Thank you, Yes Furious blackish at the moment, but with both parents grey it won't last. Now he has dried out there are white flecks through his coat.

I love the legginess of foals.  I know not a word but fits.  They are these cute little bodies on legs which go on forever.  Very nice foal Take2.

Yes they seemingly grow whilst the leg length is there from the start, compare the hock levels with their dam. they will not be much lower, they have to keep up with the herd, like big spiders when little all spiky..

Thanks Furious, they are, and I think there will be some spectacular Yearlings around next year because this season weather wise is special. The Filly was on Her feet in 10 or so minutes, I saw the video from just after it was born, i couldnt believe my eyes when she stuck out her front leg in her first attempt, it seemed to go forever lol
