Yes. Unfortunately with a system like this its the inevitable bad run that will do the damage - & quite quickly. 5 losses in a row & 23,000 goes missing. Only chance is to chip away building the pot so that when it happens you can survive it. So far so good 

The tricky part is deciding what exactly constitutes the start of a losing/winning run

[/QUOTE] Bob i know where you are coming from - however I'm not sure the past has any merit for the future. Whilst there is "some skill" to picking a line NRL result I doubt in the long run (say over 1000 games) the difference between the worst tipster to the best would be much more than say 10%. Obviously those with inside info on say team selections may do a bit better than that. I do like backing teams coming off a hiding & taking those on that win easily. However so do many others & it is usually factored into the line anyway. So my point is this - it is probably more to do with the staking plan the the actual ability to select a winner as i see it. The problem is there will always be a run that will beat any system in the long run - & that's assuming you can get set with your stake (which is often the first problem ). The longest losing roulette run is 32 reds in a row back in 1943 in the US. No staking plan can ever overcome that. In fact its dangerous thinking believing you can have any system that is infallible - will end up in the big house
