I reckon if the Sydney or Melbourne stewards were officiating goldey, they would put up a good 4.

There have been big race days in the last two months where the stewards have shown their incompetence by announcing one, and then changing and then missing it all together.

Stewards are one of the most important aspects of racing and if they can not do their job correctly, it sees punters turn their punting dollar to another avenue of investment.

Especially if they have a runner from France, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales or Germany running at the meeting!

At least when the Japanese come down they do not ask for special track conditions.

Or if the Freedman's have a runner which is owned by wealthy man, and needs a softish track to perform at her, uhhh, sorry their best!

Steady rain!

I am sure that agriculture and primary industry producers goldey would call it the government not building infrastructure to store and utilise that water.

Still do not know why the Libs policy of creating a northern irrigation area in the north similar to the one in the Riverina seems to have been totally forgotten about.

Oops sorry non racing talk is not allowed here, okay I will cease.

Gee I was lucky Goldey.  Spent 9, 10, 11 and 12 up in that area visiting relatives and had lovely (if hot and humid) days.  We had that much rain in three days when the Nepean went up.  Our driveway was over a foot under from backed up drains!
