pt, why do the Chinese feel the need to build 2 1000 bed hospitals specifically for this virus?
Is this worse than they are letting on?
Are they still that 3rd world country, yet the elite can have their lobster and racehorses?
Or are they showing off, what they can do without red tape and unions?

Coal mining...
Brexit....
Donald Trump...
Or all of the above ,then again let’s what they come up with at the annual conference at Melbourne University of Marxism later this year.

I wasn't differing from you, just saying that people like you and me get notice to take action when required. Last year they asked me to come in earlier for my annual flu shot because of an anticipated worse flu season.

The fact that there has been no notification to do anything different suggests that those that take these thing seriously dont read Murdoch media or take their cues from them.

These outbreaks of infections , with resistance to traditional drug treatments , are not to be taken lightly.

I've always had a fixed idea that nature provides , and something will raise it's ugly head to balance over population.

FWIW, my dad's a doctor and I joked with him last night about the masks people are wearing, and he said they are good because they can keep the sneezes and coughs IN to those wearing the masks. A different perspective.

I thought face recognition worked from eyes ?   Not that I know much about it, but some scanners just scan eyes dont they ?

It works on 128 points on bones, nose shape, ear placement depth of eye sockets width of jawbone etc etc in your face, so whether you are wearing glasses, hat or a mask it still recognizes you.

OK.  Interesting.   Why do they make you take your glasses off for driver,s licence and passport photos,  and also at the automatic passport control gates , and in some countries at point of entry ???

If not everyone uses face recognition software it is logical to have your baseline identification a clear face.

Thailand 'cures' coronavirus with anti-HIV drug cocktail in 48 hours

A Chinese woman infected with the new coronavirus showed a dramatic improvement after she was treated with a cocktail of anti-virals used to treat flu and HIV, Thailand's health ministry said Sunday.

The 71-year-old patient tested negative for the virus 48 hours after Thai doctors administered the combination, doctor Kriengsak Attipornwanich said during the ministry's daily press briefing.

"The lab result of positive on the coronavirus turned negative in 48 hours," Kriengsak said.

I received a video via messenger today "share, this has been removed from facebook!!!"

People falling over in the street being attended by Ambos in full hazmat gear, scenes of overcrowded hospital wards with people screaming in agony, bodies on the ground with sheets over them, with commentary by Chinese nurse saying that she is in Wuhan and the truth is that 90,000 people are dead from Coronavirus, etc ... an elaborate hoax?

Be sure to wear a mask while you wait for your bat soup to be served!

It does, but why wouldn't you want your passport or other ID to have a clean representation of your actual face. Not everywhere you go has facial recognition software to determine that the picture is you. It is just that the software can see through what you disguise yourself with, whether deliberately or inadvertently.
