Absolutely. But when you're in a crowded train let alone a four-seater configuration where the other three travelers aren't masked and spend half the trip yacking....

It is pretty clear to anyone that has a modicum of critical analysis left in them that these so called vaccines are not vaccines, not working, highly questionable if not highly dangerous.

Face nappies are useless and have always been known to be useless. They are however an outward sign of the subjugation and cowardice ( through fear mongering ) of certain individuals.
The totally controlled media and politicians are to blame for the fear porn that the population is subjected to but , you can reject the lies.
It takes a tad of courage though.

Well I know you can be coughing months after having covid but don't you think wearing a mask so you don't cough all over others isn't polite lulu.

I have to mind my 98 (99 later this month) mother for my sister sometimes and visit her weekly anyway.  I'm trying not to catch anything be it flu or a cold or covid.  It's not cowardice when you are protecting those who can't protect themselves.

The media was more fear mongering about the vaccinations than about anything else.  Which resulted in a slower round out of the vaccinations.  Yes things had to be jigged and mostly that has been done.

I know of a collapsed lung (31 year old neighbour) and a four year old child who had a seizure after covid and a close follow up of flu.  Now both those things in younger people are not something anyone wants.  Yes the older one has had the vaccinations.  The child hasn't.

I've seen bad cases and mild cases and cases who didn't know they had it until someone else caught it off them.  This thing is stupidly random.

But I had my booster yesterday.  I will continue to wear a mask although while the ones coughing are not it doesn't offer the protection I require or need to protect my mother.

next time you have an operation, make sure you tell the doctors, nurses and anaesthetist that you'd prefer they don't wear 'face nappies'. Hopefully, one doesn't have a contagious virus.

I suggest you read The Cry and the Covenant, by Morton Thompson. It tells how, once, obstinate doctors refused to sterilise their hands before operating, believing they were not capable of contaminating any patient from a previous one. Then they puzzled over why their patients were dying so easily, especially women, after childbirth.

Your posts are on a par with those obtuse idiot physicians.

Ok lulu just been to my accountants - yes tax time.  Ok so she's down three accountants because they have covid caught from clients.  So now every clients is asked to wear a mask.  Her doctor has gone of long leave as she caught covid and recovered and caught covid again less that three months after and has still got lingering effects and if she gets it again she thinks she will get long covid for sure.

And then a third person this time a friend is back after a holiday in England.  Caught covid over there and apparently no isolation is needed over there now so continued on the holiday and flew home.  Only thing is while she wasn't bad in England hasn't got out of bed since returning home so a month after is still ill.  Maybe the flight came too soon after the disease.  I don't know.

THere are reasons we try to take care not to catch this strange disease.

A breakdown of the current Covid cases has revealed parts of Sydney’s north, north shore and regional NSW are recording the highest number of cases per resident population.

In the Hunters Hill Council area, the active case number rate per population is 3.8 per cent, followed by Bogan Shire with a rate of 3 per cent and Lane Cove with a rate of 2.9 per cent.

Other areas with high rates of active cases include Maitland at 2.64 per cent, followed by Camden at 2.6 per cent, Orange at 2.55 per cent and Penrith at 2.51 per cent.

Latest postcode data shows the Liverpool postcode of 2170 has the highest overall number of cases with 1939 active cases.

I wonder why the Bogans have so many cases?

Wouldn't want to be one of those anti vax idiots who embraced the herd immunity lie.

Even a mild case of COVID-19 can increase the long-term risks of serious cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart attack and heart failure, stated a recently published report in Nature Medicine.

The study highlights our limited understanding of the full consequences of COVID infection and the long-term impact of the COVID pandemic.

Australia has reported more than 10 million cases of acute COVID infection and more than 14,000 deaths.

At least 600 million more people have been infected worldwide.

The immediate effects of COVID infection on the heart have been well documented, with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) an infrequent but potentially lethal complication. But myocarditis only occurs in about 40 people per million infected.

The big concern raised by this study is that medium- to long-term harms on the body’s blood vessel network (the vascular system) may be much more common than that.

It could drive a new pandemic of cardiovascular disease over the coming years. more...

In response to PT's article 5 posts back, this is part of what the anti-any measures to slow the pandemic crowd don't understand, they fart on about potential risks from vaccines (as if that's never been a thing before) while also ignoring long term complications from the virus itself.

Anybody who wants a laugh or to listen to a wack job and attempt to understand their argument, look up a podcast called Gypsy Tales, he had Malcolm Roberts on about 6 months ago, goes for about 3 hours, it is an amusing listen.

Any one know how many people have been fined due to non-reporting of Covid positive testing ?

I'm guessing about the same as the number of Service Stations found guilty of price gouging !

In fact, might be easier to find one that didn't - esp. prior to the excise re-instatement. LOL Which is why a bling eye was turned Wink

And re Covid - I'm still a bit confused.

Did we actually do a good job re Covid in comparison to the rest of the planet or not. Early days Scommo was getting accolades. Seems to me he gets no credit for the countries pandemic response - yet the likes of Dan, Anna & that bloke in WA seem to just waltz through incompetence & continue on.

Can someone help me out !

And PT's  figures shows things are worse than ever re Covid. So what's the ALP Federal Govt doing about it ? About as much as the have done since coming into Govt - that would be bugger all. All they want to talk about is how much in debt we are because of it.

Thank god they weren't running the show - could you imagine Albo in that scenario !

You have a short memory.
At the time Scomo was too busy working the phones to get Mathias his dream job, to take calls from big pharma to lodge orders for the vaccines.
Then he drove the prices up by competing with the states, whom he had told, “it was every man for himself”….
