Yeh finally something for the comps which can gallop.  I've only had bad ones the last few years.  All the luck in the world SC.  I'll barrack from the sidelines.

Nice one SC Thumbs Up

Unfortunately, our Flying Artie filly went from a pre-Xmas fait accompli to arytenoid chondritis and might have a career, if you're lucky.

That's unfortunate news RH.  Ouch  But hopefully not a life sentence.

Would be interested for you to remind me of its breeding, as am commencing a database of "suspect " sires in relation to similarly affected horses.  By pm if more appropriate, but no obligation on you either way.

Here you go AA

Blackfriars X Dreamalong Horse Report

Hello Allan and Cheryl,

The Blackfriars x Dreamalong gelding will have been spelling for 11 weeks as of tomorrow and is scheduled to return to the stable in about a fortnight. He's a typical slow-maturing Blackfriars type who we're obviously going to have to be patient with, however, we're looking forward to getting him back into training for another educational preparation when a box becomes available at our stable.

Regards,

Pearce Racing

Flying Artie x Bleue Pepite (Fastnet Rock). 4th dam is Rolls.... if it is heritable, you should have a significant sample as evidence.

She was (is) named Flying Barty. A few of us thought she’d damaged the cartilage whilst screaming & vomiting in hysterics over the pox name she’d been given LOL

Now that I check arytenoid chondritis isn't believed to be hereditary like some other breathing issues.  Embarrassed

It's a pity nonetheless, particularly as her 3/4 relation Ruban Blue is a pretty handy galloper and it's a nice female family.

Congrats to the TaxiDriver on selecting the Millions winner with his No1 colt in the sale. At a very reasonable price too of 160K. Fair effort that. The taxidrivers always get the good mail. Wink

Well remembered Vivarchi & thanks for bringing it up Thumbs Up Bloody sensational selecting by Taxidriver, with such a massive number to choose from, not to mention by a 1st season sire ClapClapClap

Shaquero Dominant in Magic Millions 2yo Classic

Mark Smith - Saturday January 16

After giving his first season sire Shalaa (IRE) the best possible to his career when winning the Breeders' Plate at Randwick, Shaquero provided champion trainer Chris Waller with his first win in the $2million Magic Millions 2yo Classic (RL) at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Wisdom has been chasing me but I've always outrun it!
