People in Baghdad are said to have danced on the streets in celebration after the killing of Iran’s top security and intelligence commander. General Qassem Suleimani died in the early hours of Friday in an air strike ordered by President Donald Trump. In the months before the drone strike, Iraqis had angrily protested systemic corruption, a lack of basic services and Iranian domination of Iraq’s government. Footage seemingly shows locals laughing and smiling as they excitedly run down the streets. They are also seen chanting and jumping as they wave Iraq flags. The US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, posted another video he claimed showed Iraqis dancing in the street ‘thankful that General Suleimani is no more’.

Iran doesn't operate that way Bob. They aren't stupid enough to engage in a hot war in the ME with the US. Their proxies throughout the region will start putting in train actions to revenge this guy. Americans and American interests throughout the ME from Syria to Afghanistan and in Nth Africa cannot sleep comfortably for years. The threat from Revolutionary Guard, Quds officials overnight that US blood will run in the streets of the ME does not mean an attack is imminent. We aren't safe here being allied to Trump and having troops in the ME. Remember these people, Iranian Hezbollah have carried out terrorist attacks in Argentina and in South east Asia in recent years.
