The riots are like a bloke throwing a cigarette out of a car window, starting a bushfire that causes massive destruction, when the real cause of the mayhem, is the tinder-dry countryside. America is always ready to boil over, with this kind of strife. You can't tell me that cop intended to kill him, any more than the fool with the discarded cigarette anticipated what would happen.

The trial will decide that, but keeping your foot on his throat for nearly 3 minutes after he had lost his pulse and the second copper said he would die is hard to defend.

I think the evidence will be very clear. That video is graphic, and they have another autopsy now. The police body-cams are available but haven't been shown yet. 

Don't be surprised if any penalties are light.

The last thing they want is Police who won't act.    Their job is difficult and accidents happen.          . You can't control crims without hands on.   Co operation isn't the name of their game.
