No, but just like Obeid and his criminal cronies, along with the equally bent Sidotti, these leeches should clearly face the full penalty of the law.

Speaking of the news, why did Channel 9 in Brisbane just show video of Nina Kennedy winning a bronze medal in the POLE VAULT when discussing the World Championship gold medal win by Eleanor Patterson in the HIGH JUMP?

I couldn’t pick her in a lineup, but a brief view of her biography suggests she should be a pin up girl of yours.

For those who just came in, Capp is an archetypal Liberal type and indeed a past member of the Liberal Party of Victoria.  Nothing worse in conservative eyes than one who leaves the cossetted nest to successfully forge her life in local government without political fear or favor:

Sally Anne Capp is an Australian politician who is the 104th lord mayor of Melbourne, elected on 18 May 2018 and sworn in on 24 May 2018. She is also the former executive director of the development lobbying group the Property Council of Victoria.

Capp was educated at Presbyterian Ladies' College before graduating with honours in economics and law from the University of Melbourne. Her first career was a solicitor.[1]

Previously Capp was chief of operations of the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and the former Victorian agent-general in London from 2009 to 2012, the first woman to hold the office.[2]

On 18 May 2018, Capp was declared elected as lord mayor of Melbourne in the 2018 by-election for lord mayor, following the resignation of (the disgraced) Robert Doyle on 4 February.  Capp was re-elected as lord mayor in November 2020, securing another four-year term.[4]

And a no brainer succeeding Robert Doyle, failed Liberal Party politician and "hand up the thigh or worse" Lord Mayor who subsequently resigned in disgrace.  Consistently supported as he was by his long-suffering wife, until she herself was egregiously thrown over for a much younger and more nubile partner. Dead

Unlike a few current politicians who kowtow to Chinese government pressure, Doyle stood up to them, in 2009  , Doyle came under pressure from the Chinese Government to intervene and stop the screening of The 10 Conditions of Love at the Melbourne International Film Festival. This Australian-made film is about a prominent Uighur woman Rebiya Kadeer, who China labels a 'terrorist' and claims that she was the orchestrator of the July 2009 Ürümqi riots. Kadeer did attend the screening at the Melbourne Town Hall.

The Chinese Consul-General in Melbourne requested a meeting with the Lord Mayor to discuss the matter. Despite the protests from the Chinese Government, Doyle refused to intervene to stop the screening. Subsequently, reports emerged that China would consider terminating the sister-city relationship between Melbourne and Tianjin, one of China's four municipal-level cities and the fifth most populous city in China

Defying the Chinese Government's threat, Doyle lodged a complaint to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, prompting the Department to warn the Chinese Embassy to conduct themselves appropriately
