I'm tipping this Alice Springs galloper to win a stakes race if he ever travels to Adelaide or east. I know, it's only Alice Springs dirt racing, but this 3yo gelding is special. He's won 7/8 and his last three by 9.9, 8.5 and 6 lengths. The last win was a $50,000 feature Guineas race. Check out last Saturday's win. Only won by 6 lengths, but beat the 3rd horse by 16.5. It's the 6th race.

Looks good Bon,

Could even go to Melbourne during winter you would think.

It's dam was very well bred. Sold for $280K and couldn't win a race then sold for broodmare for 5K in foal to Shaft.

If he can race on turf he looks capable of getting a distance and his breeding backs that up. I think even Djebel would like the breeding of the dam.

I wonder of they will run in the $110,000 Alice Springs Cup over 2000m on 6th May. Be tempting. Or they could look to a 2000m race in Adelaide for 3yos.

I think I read somewhere they’re going to target Darwin.
NT Derby and Cup.
Good prizemoney up that way that time of year

Makes sense I guess. The Darwin surface is closer to what he's used to than grass. Would love to see him in Adelaide though.

I find it hard to get enthusiastic about leaders on dirt tracks but there were some interesting runs in the replay of R7 on that link

Good to see DirtRace. 9 days after Saturday's race. Saturday's is WFA so probably won't get a penalty, provided Alice Springs TC abides by normal convention.
