I love seeing Vain in a pedigree, not so common these days

I'd love to see her again and away from MV.

Athiri looks very promising to me and wouldn't be surprised if they run into each other in Melbourne.

Always interesting as the young ones emerge .   Both the above mentioned needed the heavens to open for them in their debit wins .
Means both will be silly "unders" next time .   Impressive as they were.

The MV win was just so easy and Yes Yes Yes has confirmed the form .   He did it a bit tougher than the winner though.

Anything from the Magic Millions good enough for the Autumn.?

They don't usually have anything in the tank for the autumn these days, Macca.

I was all over Exhilarates like you, so am very much in love with her right now. That win looked huge.

I do not think Exhilirates will make the slipper. If she goes on it will be for the diamond.

Tassort for me is the best we have seen in Sydney.

I know he had every hope, today, but Dubious is still underrated for mine.

The two mentioned fillies are strong.

Just from racing so far this season I think overall, the fillies might have it on most males, but the top couple of males are good.
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

This horse is over the odds for the Blue Diamond

Will snag back from barrier 11.

Was last in a big field at the Valley. over 1000m I think
Any horse that can thunder past the whole field at only 1000m, is always a great ingredient for the extra 200m.

5th in its last run, didnt relax, but fitter for fun

Great each way value
had great raw ability. love the barrier, the extra 100m for the diamond.

can get odds over $10 with odds boosting on corporates.

I was on last start and thought it was a big flop. Never ran on like it did in the Valley run to my eye.
Can’t see why it will do it this time

I agree. I thought she looked a bit overdone and raced the same, ready for the paddock.

Will probably bolt in now

I'm unable to see one on the other foot so will go with my initial thought which is one of those boots they use to stop the heel of the shoe hitting the elbow Confused

Loved this horse. A bit mystified by her last run though. She looked amazing on debut.

Anyone heard anything?
Forgive the run?

Slow early in both runs.   >Early Sectionals ( wide) didn't suit on the "off" Caulfield track last start and gave me the impression further will suit. . DON'T sack her, the final 600 in both starts were excellent and will win plenty when she learns what it's all about.

FWIW = I have her rated 2L better than her actual performances, for the reasons mentioned.
The wide draw in the Blue Diamond won't help but put her in your exotics.
at least ,   > She will be flying at the finish.

Go by her first run.

I have a basic formula I use.

Any horse that is way back in a 1000m race, and reels in the entire big field, going away, is very very special, simply because of this:

If 14 to 15 horses, cant sustain the speed at the front, or in middle of the pack, at just 1000,, it means they are either just ordinary, or the horse that reeled them in, is super good, because you dont have time for error.
Not only did she get up at the valley, she went to the line, going away, hard held.
She even missed the start the valley, by half a length.

The first 800m at Caulfield, she really didnt want to know about the race.

She will snag back from barrier 11, relax, and do nothing early.
You watch her go in the final furlong. BANG.

Never ever be put off by one slightly "plain" run, when it comes to 2 year olds.
People did that with Phelan Ready before the slipper. They jumped off, and went around at $40, and came from last and won easily.

I think Reward for Effort was a similar story in the blue diamond.

Brooklyn Hustle will bolt the Diamond in.
Her place odds at $3, is very very good value.

I was just watching the interview with Warren, prior her prelude run, and he was saying she is entered for the prelude run to just get some fitness, "not wound up yet".

They could easily snag back from barrier 11, hug the rail, same as the Valley, plenty of time to find the gaps up the Caulfield straight. I want her to hug the rail at the hometurn, there is no need to go wide.
A bunch of horses will be falling into her lap at the 300, but she will find her way thru it all, same as at the valley.

She is my bet of the year thus far for 2019.

Ladbrokes.

$11 to win. YES
$3.50 to place. BIG YES

Pick your own odds,

To win by
More than 1/2 length $15.  YES
More than 3/4 length $19,  (amazing value)
More than 1 length $23   YES
More than 1 1/4 lengths $31  YES
More than 1 and half lengths $41  YES
More than 1 and 3/4 lengths $51
More than 2 lengths  $71   YES        She has the body of a colt. Miss Finland bolted in the slipper by over 4 lengths.  Its very possible Brooklyn Hustle can win Diamond by over 2 lengths at $71.
