94,000 crowd.Shocked

Fury talks of retirement. I'll believe that when I see it.

MMA fighter Francis Ngannou, the current heavyweight champion was in the ring with Fury after the fight and they were talking up a hybrid fight for huge bucks, or Squids depending on where it is.

Hybrid fights are bullsh1t. Complete joke.

“Because they’re f**king stupid,” White said when asked why he’s not interested in Ngannou vs. Fury. “f**king waste of time, energy, and money. I don’t know, it’s silly, but I get it. Everybody wants to try to—I don’t know. I don’t even know.”

He's talking like he's The Greatest. Let's hope he is. I'm getting a little bit of a Hornbag deja vu feeling - struck a better boxer on his worst day then bragged for Australia,  far beyond his ability to back it up.

Go, George.Thumbs Up

Big Daddy Lucas Browne up now against Junior Fa from NZ if Browne couldn't beat Gallen, he has no chance against Fa whose only loss was to Joseph Parker.

2nd punch was an illegal rabbit punch to the back of the head that was not seen by the referee.

Big Daddy's been taking lessons from Gallen. There is a story in today's paper where he says that's the reason he lost to Gallen.

Boxer vs fighter and the boxer is controlling the fight. George will have to get lucky to change this.

Down to the final 3 money rounds. Fatigue might decide this as George steps it up.

I was wondering what happened to the Andrew Moloney fight. Seems they have a post main event card and he is fighting now on that card...very strange.

Bloody fight. I turn up at Star sports bar to watch Collingwood v Hawthorn, only to find the place packed and every screen tuned to the boxing. And the sound turned up a few hundred decibels.

I retreated to the TAB, where one screen had the AFL on it, and got to watch the boys win, but I reckon no-one in the sports bar wore a mask and they were packed in like sardines. So much for covid or flu prevention.

 Was a boring fight...

Down here in Melbourne I would think only 2 in 50 people wear a mask anywhere, and of those 2 most are over 65 years of age. People I speak to have had the first two vaccinations and the majority have had one or two of the boosters , together with their annual flu jab.  We are learning to live with Covid, just as we have with the flu every winter.
