Aside from today where the colt should've won by 5 lengths I love the look of the horse.

When will it race next? I'll be backing it for sure.

Not racing in the Guineas Saturday. Anyone know why?

Was looking forward to seeing him race. Reckon he's a group one horse.

Where the hell is this horse? Did he injure himself?

His form from his debut prep has held up nicely through So Far Sokool and Muraaqeb. Nothing outstanding but good enough for a horse that will improve many lengths off that prep.

TAMASA (3YO colt, 3 starts - 2 wins - no placings. Prizemoney: $28,850)

"He was really unlucky over the carnival last spring but unfortunately he had surgery on a knee just after Christmas.

"He's very sound at the moment and he's ready to have a trial on the 6th of August.

"Being an entire by So You Think, it would be great to see him in a Group 1 race but at the moment he's still eligible for a Benchmark 70 race so he's going to have to win his way into a race like that.

"He proved last spring that he's a talented horse if we can get him right." Update from D K Weir

Market was set against the barrier and track pattern and the barrier did end up being the difference.

It was a bad ride. Even an average ride wins that. It was bad. Typical of the jockey, but a bad ride all the same.

Far too casual a ride. The aim was to win this race to give him every chance to improve his rating and qualify for good races over the spring.

How on earth you ride a horse like him from barrier 1 with such a carefree approach is beyond me.  Needed to be into the horse earlier. At one point he lost ground with the rider doing very little to change that.
