It has been reported that what he did yesterday was in response to internal polling showing he has lost 10% of those voters. He lost a lot more yesterday with that pathetic stunt.

He is busy on the border too Rusty. Jared has stepped up his stealing of people's property (so-called Eminent Domain) along the border to try to get a few more miles up for photo ops before the election.
Problem s though that he contracted a guy he saw on Fox News so like COVID tests, masks and everything else connected to Fox/Cronyism it isn't likely to happen for years, if ever. Last contractor he got off Fox was fired when a bit of wind started blowing it down.

You are agreeing with Biden saying Trump should take to heart the contents of the bible, not wave it about as a prop. But also saying the whole idea of "God", is fiction. Should Trump take that to heart ? I am not proposing that people should in fact take the bible too seriously, as a whole, when it is past obvious that the OT and NT are in severe conflict with one another. And the OT in severe conflict with known facts, as revealed not just by science, but plain common sense. Which is not to say the bible is a wash-out, just that it needs to be revised to meet the sensibilities of the age we live in.

I have no interest what is in the bible. I have read it and it was a fine set of stories.
That said I do not have a problem with people who think they need it as a guiding principle in their lives. I object to people committing atrocities in it's name though and claiming some moral authority because they claim to read it. They clearly dont understand it or deliberately use it to manipulate it's believers. Christians in America are waking up to the fact Trump is the latter and they are walking away from him.

It is no good using moral indignation against people you regard as immoral, or amoral. You use calm reason, and if that does not play with the electorate, then you have to face that democracy is simply a contest of numbers, not how the numbers were gained. Hillary "thought aloud" about the deplorables, people like Trump see them as a resource to be harvested for votes. It is a very practical matter, of getting the votes, but whatever works, not a contest of "right" ideas.

The Dow is a reflection of investor sentiment, the economic indicators, business and consumer confidence are the reflection of the health of the economy. The Dow collapsed at the start of the pandemic, but the FED immediately released $4-6 Trillion of Quantitative easing(printed money) to guarantee financial institutions and as it turned out medium to large business as well as releasing a heap in Community Bonds to counties and States.
