Cornerstone is advertising that they will be shuttling the Ascot Prince of Wales Stakes winner from the Irish National Stud - he'll be standing for $18,700.

Son of High Chaparral from the family of Hussonet/Ekraar/War Pass/etc..

Not so much Storm... I've got another mare that I used to strap that I'm trying to secure.. just don't want to get ahead of myself and start posting it on here just in case something happens and I don't get her. Fingers crossed. Anyway, she would be creating sex balanced duplications of Danehill and Affirmed..

Storm I'd be looking at maybe Real Impact, Street Boss, possibly War Horse if he does okay. Have a few in mind for her but will have to go take a look at them, she has a few conformation flaws I need to work around.

This fella has got off to a pleasing start in Europe with 2 early 2yo winners at Goodwood and Leopardstown in the last week, with the trainers having a good opinion of both.

For a staying son of High Chaparral to have early 2yo winners is a bonus and imo the High Chap line goes even better down under.

Free Eagle was a great horse as evidenced by the video in djebel's post above this. Won the Prince of Wales at his 6th start and after a 12 month injury break, then matched motors with Golden Horn and the world class Found in the Irish Champion before wrapping up his 8 start career with a 5th i think it was in the Arc.

This bloke could do well down here.

 Only covered 36 mares last year. Probably needed to be in NZ or the eastern states.

Didn't realise that he wasn't coming back. Thanks Glencoe. 36 mares is really disappointing and unsustainable. Being in S.A. never really felt right with him. He felt like a Coolmoore/Hunter Valley type stallion even though he was trained by Dermot.

I'm gonna follow this guy and hopefully get my hands on a share in one of the remaining ones to come if the opportunity presents. He was a serious horse and every High Chap is a chance of succeeding down here. I'll never forget watching that Irish Champion Stakes and seeing Golden Horn fair dinkum flatten him.
