Can't find anything about this name on here, so apologies if I've missed it.

In England, and told about fifth hand to me so can't be sure of the facts.

Horse called Norfolk In Hope.  Embarrassed

The "Norfolk Enchants" gag has been around for a long time. I first heard it in relation to a greyhound about thirty years ago.

............ although it might have been more recent. An Irish Greyhound called "Norfolk Enchants", whelped July 2002 (by Bolton Minister x Fairview Swift) had his name changed to "Flag Flyers" probably after authorities realised how it was pronounced.

I came across this naming of an Iran missile on y/days' ABC news & reckon it'd be great for one with the right breeding &/or temperament Big smile Smart Missile immediately sprung to mind.

"The missile is called Kheibar — a reference to a Jewish castle overrun by Muslim warriors in the early days of Islam"
Wisdom has been chasing me but I've always outrun it!
