Outside strip of the track at Geelong being aerated and possibly wet ??? surprised the young horse and in turn Michael Walker who was on just then.

It slipped baulked on it and nearly went through the fence according to Walker who managed to hold it together and still win the race albeit a bit shaken afterwards ..... understandably.

Tough work that one good to see it turned out alright.

Excellent Jockey.

Had his issues but if he's ironed them out Brilliant.

Great judge of pace. When he's good he's very very good. Big sling coming his way for Harlem surely.

Don't know him but he appears to be a slot smarter than the average bear. I'd be interested in hearing a lot more from him BEFORE races not after as is R.com's approach.

Just saw his ride on Doubt Defying, in the Sale Cup yesterday and saw that he has been retained by Aquis Farms to ride their horses in their races.

So that is two major owners he now is retained by. Looks like he will be riding away from Melbourne at the carnivals a little more.

Yes especially for Richard Laming.... last year he had a host of runners and a different jockey went up for the meeting. Can’t remember who maybe Melham?

Old mate left empty handed as did Richard Laming. Three heavily backed favourite’s all rolled. Not sure he wanted to win on the last one to be honest.
