Australian Oaks

1. No.2 Shout The Bar - 84. Good strong win at Rosehill. Will go forward and should get a lovely run. Onviously the 2400m is a question but it is for early all of them so on form she is the one to beat.
2. No.1 Probabeel - 82. Gave everything she had last start which seems to be her best attribute. I have a severe doubt with her at the 2400m, but class will give her a chance.
3. No.3 Nudge - 81. I thought she ran a cracker in the Vinery and her last two hundred was the best part of her race. Should get into a good position which will see her do no early work and if she can finish off at 2400m like she did last start she is a definite winning chance.
4. Collette - 78. Comes through the lower grades preliminaries and she has ben impressive in doing so. I think she performs as though 2400m looks ideal and the Adrian Knox has thrown it share of winners of this race. Should get a lovely run and will be right in the finish.
5. No.7 Toffee Tongue - 76. Her problem is that she seems to have not gate speed, so she will be giving all her opponents a start. The 2400m looks right up her alley and I think she is good overs. Expecting her to be in the top four.
6. No.9 Quintessa - 75. Had every hope last start and will roll forward with Rawiler holding the reigns. Not sure she can win, but she should run well.

Sydney Cup

1. No.2 Young Rascal - 84. Good fresh win and looks well placed with the 56 kilos. Has never run 3200m so that has to be a query but class will take him a long way.
2. No.6 The Chosen One - 81. Last week he looked as though he was looking for the 3200m. Weighted to win and should get a lovely run which will give him every hope.
3. No.1 Mustajeer - 79. The connections thought he did not run the 3200m in the Melbourne Cup, so have to take him on trust, but comes through the WFA races and that form line is the right one.
4. No.4 Raheen House - 75. I said after last week the Chairmans was not Sydney Cup form, but the field is not great and he can stay. The winner of the Chairmans has been a shocking lead in for this race so top four hope only.
5. No.7 Azuro - 74. Not a bad run at Auckland, but again he is a 3200m specialist and can improve here.
6. No.11 Sweet Thomas - 72. The other horses in this race have very inconsistent form or are doubts at the 3200m. This horse has been improving with every run, he drops to 51 kilos, the 3200m looks ideal, and his heavy track form is good. I think @ $81.00 he is worth placing in the top six.

Queen Elizabeth Stakes

1. No.2 Addeybb - 92. With the connections stating that a heavy track is even better for this horse he is clear top rater.
2. No.1 Danon Premium - 87. The wet track is a huge concern, but on form he is the one to beat.
3. No.4 Te Akau Shark - 85. A little disappointing last start but still ran third at group one level. My only concer is that he has had a 1400m, 1600m and 1500m run, so no 2000m run leading in, but trust the trainer.
4. No.13 Melody Belle - 85. Not any chinks here. 2000m ideal, she has good record fourth up, she has had the two 1600m runs, she is suited at the WFA, her run behind Magic Wand in the spring sits well with Addeeybb and she is in form, and I can see her getting a lovely run from her gate.
5. No.12 Very Elleegant - 85. Has hit her career peak this prep. She steps up to the A Grade here, but deserves her shot. Not sure she can win but she can finish hard into the top four.
6. No.10 Master Of Wine - 81. Comes through the lower grades but his own performance ratings have been WFA level. This might be a touch too soon, but he is developing quickly. Can see him being right in the finish.

1. No.17 Funstar - 85. Back to 1600m is okay, and is the top rater.
2. No.4 Miss Siska - 83. Just nutted in this race last year. She comes her in far superior form and her WFA form up to 1800m this prep has been fantastic. Right in this.
3. No.13 Amangiri - 81. I think she is a genuine group two mare, but her fresh run was good and I can see her getting very oportunity. Winning hope.
4. No.2 Nettoyer - 80. What a good girl she was for us last week! Back up into the WFA but she is a good weight carrier so no worry there. Loves the 1600m at Randwick and with good speed in the race can see her doing exactly the same as last week.
5. No.3 Con Te Partiro - 78. Thought she ran really well last week. Still not sure she is a genuine 1600m horse, but she is in form.
6. No.9 Positive Peace - 77. Low flying and a mre in form is capable of stepping up in levels. Group 2 winner last time and while she has not win at 1600m she has run well. Needs a new career best to win but can run well.

4. No.5 Zoutori - 78. Has just not been suited in his last two. The Oakleigh Plate and Newmarket runs were good enough to win here and he is better suited on the big sweeping track than last start at MV. Will also be better suited back to handicap conditions.
5. No.9 Behemoth - 77. If this was 1400m he would be near the top of the ratings. If he can sit just behind the lead from the gate he can come over the top of the leaders.
6. No.1 Santa Ana Lane - 76. He needs to be creating some serious history to win here, but he can run well. Not sure he will win but can run top four.
