Hanui Farm Stakes 1. No.2 The Mitigator - 85. Great effort last time out where he was beaten by a genuine group 1 horse. Distance no trouble, and the soft 7 is ideal, the one to beat. 2. No.11 Rondinella - 83. Class mare who is a genuine group wfa horse. The 1600m looks ideal at this point and she showed she had come back this prep with a nice fresh run last start. Has to go in all exotics. 3. No.9 Avantage - 81. She has the quality, but just not sure the 1600m. I thought she had every hope last start behind Te Akau Shark but she should sit forward and get very hope from the gate. 4. No.5 Prise De Fer - 79. She is stepping up to the top level, but he could be the male on the rise. It was a good win last start and should get every hope to make it six in a row! 5. No.1 Shadows Cast - 77. Still think he is a handicapper but he is a top quality miler and will get every hope. Top four hope for mine. 6. No.6 Germanicus - 75. Going well and deserves his chance here. Not sure he can win, but will run well. Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 The Mitigator Precedent: No.11 Rondinella Matamata Matamata Breeders Stakes 1. No.1 - 77 2. No.6 - 75 3. No.7 - 74 4. No.8 - 74 5. No.11- 72 6. Futurity Stakes
1. No.7 Melody Belle - 90. Only negative I see is the Caulfield track, but that is just about irrelevant. The one to beat! 2. No.8 Super Seth - 90. Can not fault this galloper. Loves the track, can handle all conditions, and should sit a little closer from the draw off a slow speed. I think the $2.90 is overs, although he is only receiving 1.5 kilos off MB. 3. No.2 Black Heart Bart - 87. Took a few runs to find his best last prep, but he was coming out of retirement. Loves the course and distance and I can see him going forward and getting a lovely run. The $4 the place looks a enticing bet! 4. No.1 Kolding - 83. His second up form is usually where we see a dip in rating, although he did beat Fierce Impact last time in he only did that due to FI running out of fitness late. Top galloper who will give a good sight. 5. No.3 Streets Of Avalon - 79. Will go forward but he is not a leader so he can sit just behind a slow speed and he has the fitness edge. He is a handicapper though and a place hope best for me. 6. No.6 Cape Of Good Hope - 75. Won a very average group 1 fresh in the spring, which was at 2000m, but would not surprise to see him run well fresh. Add ins for the scratchings are No.4 & No.5 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Melody Belle Precedent: No.2 Black Heart Bart Blue Diamond Stakes. ( I will do this rating in racebook order) 1. Ideas Man - 75. He was a fair way off his rivals before the barrier and the draw makes it even harder. No. 2. Hanseatic - 87. The draw can become a problem, but I think he can overcome any trouble. Definite danger. 3. Rathlin - 77. If he can find a good spot from the gate, he can finish top four but not a winning hope for me. 4. Tanker - 72. Just not sure he is up to these, but he is a nice horse who could win outside the group 1 races. 5. Tagaloa - 77. This one looks the Sires horse to my eye. Just think the helter skelter of this race might see him left behind, but he should be storming home and if they go at warp speed he could run on into the top four. 6. Rulership - 87. His last run is exactly what we wanted to see. Now he has had that run at Caulfield from the good gate he gets a lovely run and like the jockey I am eager to see how he goes with a sit behind the leading horses. Great chance! 7. Glenfiddich - 76. Not far off Rathlin and Tagaloa but not sure he is at this level. Not for me. 8. Away Game - 87. Why is she $12? There is nothing wrong with her form, but obviously the bookies think it is a level below this field. Her debut run behind Hanseatic was good as she was stuck on the inside behind horses while he had a clear run, which could be reversed tomorrow. For me she is the bet in the race! 9. A Beautiful Night - 77. Good win two back but the real class was seen last start and not here. 10. Aryaaf - 81. Can not win but will run well. Always throw this stables runners in the exotics for this race! 11. Letzbeglam - 86. Annoyed last start as I had her near the top of the raters when she was scratched previously and missed the $35 last time. On her last start she is a chance to do the Lyre double! 12. Muntaseera - 84. To me her form is just below Away Game and Letzbeglam, but she can place. 13. Personal - 83. Trust me she is the forgotten horse here. Comes through a perceived lower level class, but she has quality. I think she is the stables best hope! 14. Riverina Storm - 79. Comes through a good rating race and although she has quality just can not see her truning the tables on Letzbeglam and Muntaseera. Can run well but not win. 15. Fayerra - SCRATCHED 16. Difficult - 65. I think her name says it all. 1. No.8 Away Game - 87 2. No.6 Rulership - 87 3. No.2 Hanseatic - 87 4. No.11 Letzbeglam - 86 5. No.12 Muntaseera - 84 6. No.13 Personal - 83 Add ins for any scratchings are No.11 & No.14 Recommended Bet: $20 win No.8 Away Game $10 win No.11 Letzbeglam $10 each way No.13 Personal Precedent: No.13 Personal |

Oakleigh Plate (again I will do this in racebook order)
1. Ball Of Muscle - 87. No negatives here. Carries big weights well, loves the 1100m here at Caulfield and has a good record fresh. The only problem is that the top weights in this race have a shocking record. Should run top four! 2. Zoutori - 85. His first two runs last spring were, to put it mildly, sensational. Looks to be going jus as well coming into his fresh run here so if he is anywhere near that form he can win! 3. Bivouac - 89. One of the best of a top quality group of 3yo sprinters. Big beast of a horse who will handle the 55.5kgs in open company and as he has 1400m group 1 form he should be the one to beat. 4. Faatinah - 79. If this was a normal Oakleigh Plate, he would be a top four hope, but this is a very good edition of this race and so for me he is a top six hope who we should put in the lower levels of the exotics. 5. Bons Away - 75. Very talented horse, who usually runs well fresh including this event last year, but this is a hot field so not for me. 6. Crystal Dreamer - 72. Good off season sprinter, but way outclassed here. 7. Trope - 75. Up and comer, but will need to have improved on his spring form. Not well weighted but the stable obviously have an opinion on him so for that reason alone he goes in the tri's and first 4's. 8. All Too Royal - 70. Again he isa good off season sprinting type, but outclassed here. 9. Anjana - 76. She does have a good finish on her, and I can see her winning a good race maybe the Goodwood, but not here. 10. Bold Star - 84. This horse is in good form, he is fit and the stable is flying. Has drawn well, can handle the soft tracks and he meets Anaheed 2.5 kilos better from their last clash. Not sure he can win, but he will give you a good sight. 11. Fine Dine - 70. No. 12. Halvorsen - 78. He is going very good, but he steps up to the top level here. If it was down the straight I would have him a place hope, but fifth at best in this field. 13. Humma Humma - 78. I love her and I think she can run well in a group 1, but not here. Will throw her in the exotics, but that is a personal decision of mine. 14. Mystyko - 72. Honest mare, but not here. 15. Pippie - 81. Very intriguing runner. Steps out of the mares grade here, and deserves her chance. Barrier makes it hard but can run well. 16. Anaheed - 86. No negatives here. Loves the track, handles any conditions, the 1100m suits and she can scoot across from the wide gate. should finish top four. 17. I Am Immortal. SCRATCHED 18. Free Of Debt - 84. Always seems to start at $30+ and runs well. The only plan from out there is to go hard and go long, and he will give you a good sight. Not sure he can win, but he can hold on for a top five finish! 19. Vainstream - 70. Again he is a good money spinner for his owners but if he finishes in the top ten it has ben a good effort. 1. No.3 - Bivouac - 89 2. No.1 Ball Of Muscle - 87 3. No.16 Anaheed - 86 4. No.2 Zoutori - 85 5. No.10 Bold Star - 84 6. No.18 Free Of Debt - 84. Add ins for any scratchings are No.15 & No.4 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.3 Bivouac $10 each way No.1 Ball Of Muscle Precedent: No.15 Pippie Good luck and lots of success for all investors! |

Alright with Launceston over we now move onto a very intriguing day all over the country and also at Ellerslie with a very much anticipated New Zealand Derby. I have also included the Jewel races at Doomben even though they are not black type races, the form around the two races is well exposed and all runners should be trying hard, as the races are worth good money.

No.8 - 75 Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.15 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 It's Destinys Child Precedent: No.7 Spring Heat New Zealand Derby ( in race book order) 1. Dragon Leap - 81. Going well and it loks like the 2400m will not be a hurdle. I am a bit wary where he gets to in the run, but if hefind cover he will go close. 2. Sherwood Forest - 81. He can find one better on race day, but he is a genuine place hope. 3. Scorpz - 79. Looks like 2400m will suit down to the ground and looks to be on the up. Good overs! 4. Peloton - 72. Going okay, but unless the 2400m adds a few lengths he is not a winning hope. 5. Tibetan - 78. Lacks a bit of the acceleration of some of the favs, but he will grind away and if he goes forward I can see him fighting on for fourth or fifth. 6. Platinum Road - 74. Has looked to have every hope at his last few. I think he is silly odds but only a 3rd, 4th and 5th hope. 7. Vladivostok - 78. He could be one of those on the up here. Thought his win last start at 2100m, showed he is hitting form at the right time, and the 2400m should hold no fears. Goes in the exotics! 8. Reggiewood - 79. The barrier is my huge concern. If he can find cover and be held up to finish off the last 500m, he can go close. 9. Shakespeare - 72. No. 10. Lochwinnoch - 69. No. 11. Den Bosch - 69. Not here! 12. Red Rufus - 69. No. 13. Monlula - 74. Looks like the 2400m is suitable, but this might have come a bit soon. Might be one to kep an eye on from a Brisbane or Adelaide point of view. 14. Dalmatia - 69. No. 15. Platinum Spirit - 72. Going okay but needs a huge improvement here. 16. Two Illicit - 84. Has had a perfect prep coming into this and respect tyhe stables confidence to take on the males. The one to beat! 1. No.16 - 84. 2. No. 1 - 81 3. No. 2 - 81 4. No. 8 - 79 5. No. 3 - 79 6. No. 7 - 79 Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.13. Can not see why she would not be a wining hope here. The only negative is she couldd rop her rating second up, but no evidence of that so go with the obvious! 2. Funstar - 90. She does improve with a run, but the 1400m fresh could offset that. Hs the class to win! 3. Probabeel - 87. Coming into this 3rd up from the spell and she looks well in. I can not say she is s good as the two top raters until she beats them, but this could be her chance. 4. Lyre - 84. Thought her fresh run was good. I would like to see her sit forward over the 1400m, and if that is seen she can fight o for a place. 5. Emeralds - 82. Loved her last 200m in the Light Fingers. Maybe still 200m short, but I could see her running ino the placings. I would not mind seeing her back up into the RARandwick Guineas if she runs well here. 6. Xilong - 79. Not quite up to this class, but she can run top four. Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.6. Recommended Bet: $50 win No.1 Flit Precedent: No.4 Funstar Chipping Norton Stakes 1. No.5 Fierce Impact - 90. Showed with his last run he has come back in huge shape. $8.00 is excellent value. 2. No.2 Happy Clapper - 87. Top fresh run and he is a definite winning chance here at the 1600m at Randwick, just needs a drier track. 3. No.4 Dreamforce - 85. One of few leaders here. Can win but for me ust a place hope. 4. No.1 Avilius - 85. Neees a wet track to win, but his George Main win last spring says he is right up to winning this, especially on a soft track. 5. No.3 Te Akau Shark - 85. Right up with this class and the one to beat. 6. No.7 Homesman - 82. This suits nicely fresh! Add ins for any scratchings are No.12 & No.13 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.5 Fierce Impact $20 win No.3 Te Akau Shark Precedent: No.4 Dreamforce |

No.10 - 74 Add ins for any scrtchings are No.3 & No.5 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Sylvia's Mother Precedent: No.6 Fidelia Shaftesbury Avenue Stakes 1. No.3 - 83 2. No.2 - 81 3. No.7 - 80 4. No.1 - 77 3. No.4 - 76 4. No.9 - 74 5. No.2 - 72 6. No.7 - 72 Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $10 win + $40 place No.9 Brook Magic Precedent: No.8 Embrace Me Australian Guineas ( in racebook order, what a cracking race!) 1. Alligator Blood - 86. Just a slight query at the strong 1600m but the small field sees no speed and he can once again control the race. The one to beat! 2. Dalasan - 83. Again he is one who needs a big field with good speed on so he can finish off. He is a group1 winner in waiting, but not here although if he did win I would cheer for him, even though I will not be backing him. 3. Alabama Express - 81. he is a quality colt, but I would have preferred the freshen into the Newmarket. Can not win here! 4. Catalyst - 87. Very very talented racehorse. Loved his effort last start where he was ridden upside down, and unfortunately I can see the same happening here. The extra 200m is ideal and if Alabama Express and Alligator Blood go hard in front he can win. He is my bet in the race as NZ horses do tend to improve after having had a run in Australia. 5. Soul Patch - 85. Make no mistake this is a very, very, very good racehorse. If it was a full field of 16 with good speed on he would be a very good winning hope but for me he is a place certainty. What ever he does here he will be competitive in Sydney. 6. Superstorm - 79. I now the WA form has stood up last spring, but he is absolutely taking on the cream of the crop here. The 1600m should suit and I ca see him running a good race but not winning. 7. Chenier - 85. Leave him out of calculations at your own peril. Fantastic run fresh and gain he would be better suited with speed on but he is talented enough to win. 8. Commodus - 65. Ahem, what is this horse doing here? 1. No.1 - 87 2. No.4 - 87 3. No.7 - 85 4. No.5 - 85 5. No.2 - 83 6. No.3 - 81 Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.8 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.4 Catalyst $10 each way No.5 Soul Patch Precedent: No.7 Chenier Blamey Stakes 1. Ellerslie Sistema Stakes 1. No.4 - 82 2. No.1 - 81 3. No.3 - 78 4. No.5 - 75 5. No.2 - 73 6. No.6 - 72 Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.8 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.1 Cool AZA Beel Precedent: No.4 Vernazza NZ Stakes 1. No.10 Rondinella - 85. Just left flat footed last start and seem3ed to be looking for the 2000m. Gets that here and is right in play. 2. No.2 True Enough - 84. Form is outstanding and no reason he can not be right in the finish. 3. No.1 Tiptronic - 82. Still not quite sure he is up to a genuine group 1, but his win last start was good. Drawn to get the favors and will be somewhere in the finish. 4. No.8 Avantage - 81. Again she steps up in distance against some seasoned 2000m horses but she is in too good a form to leave out. Will start fav and a bit short for me to back, but no surprise to see her win. 5. No.4 Prise De Fer - 78. I am surprised that he is having his first 2000m run midway through his 4yo year, but he looks like he is looking for the distance. Can win! 6. No.5 Rock On Wood - 77. Going well, but a top four hope at best for me. Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.6 Recommended Bet: $10 win + $40 place No.10 Rondinella Precedent: No.2 True Enough Auckland Cup 1. No.6 Sound - 82. Last two runs have been good. Stepping out to 3200m is ideal and to my eye he seems well weighted. Drawn to get a lovely run and should look the winner at some point. 2. No.16 Soleseifei - 80. Good effort last start when dropping back 800m in distance. Won at Wellington before that and back out to 3200m looks hard to beat. 3. No.1 Azuro - 79. Just forget any form for him until he gets to 3200m, where he is 4 starts for 3 wins and 1 second. Good chance. 4. No.8 The Good Fight - 78. Going well and should at least be a place hope. 5. No.3 Platinum Invader - 76. Form is good going in and just needs to run the 3200m to be a live chance. 6. No.4 Big Mike - 75. Comes through the lower grade races, but 3200m should suit and his last two wins show he is in good form. Might be the overs! Add ins for any scratchings are No.17 & No.2. Recommended Bet: $20 win No.6 Sound $10 win No.1 Azuro $10 each way No.16 Soleseifei Precedent: No.8 The Good Fight |

No.9 - 73 6. No.4 - 72 Add ins for any scratchings are 1 & No.8 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.5 Supreme Idea $10 each way No.9 Fayerra (finally out to 1200m) Precedent: No.7 Centimental Fireball Stakes 1. No.5 - 84 2. No.7 - 82 3. No.2 - 80 4. No.6 - 78 5. No.9 - 75 6. No.1 - 74 Add ins for any scratchings are No.16 & No.11 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.7 California Zimbol $20 win No.9 Yao Dash Precedent: No.5 Anaheed Canterbury Stakes 1. No.5 - Savatiano - 85. I thought that was her best career effort first up. Looks like she might be reaching a peak career wise and she does have a good second up formline. 2. No.4 - Alizee - 84. She is the one to beat but I am just not sure she will get the run to suit here. 3. No.7 Standout - 84. Looks well placed to grab his first group 1. For me he is a much deserved favourite. 4. No.6 White Moss - 81. Though she was right on target but Savatiano went straight past her last time, so for me she is just a place hope at best. 5. No.3 Begood Toya Mother - 78. Not sure he can win here, in fact I am sure he will not, but will run well. 6. No.1 Mister Sea Wolf - 77. Goes well fresh but this is a quality field and can not see him winning. Add in for the scratching are No.2. Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Standout Precedent: No.4 Alizee Challenge Stakes 1. No.3 - 87 2. No.2 - 85 3. No.8 - 80 4. No.1 - 79 5. No.6 - 77 6. No.5 - 76 Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.7 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Redzel Precedent: No.5 Deprive Randwick Guineas (done in race book order) 1. Castelvecchio - 85. Good first up, but I like him at 2000m+. Can still run well, but will give him this run, before backing him. 2. Super Seth - 84. Drawn to get a lovely run, although if he does not go farward will need luck in teh straight. If the race pans out and he gets his chance, he will go close. 3. Microphone - 82. Has got the ability but I agree with Bowman, he had his hcance last time out and the 1600m is not to my eye suitable. 4. Warning - 84. Lovely return. Better here at Randwick and I can see him getting home strongly. If Berry uses the gate he can land in front of Shadow Hero and Castelvecchio and be hard to hold out. 5. Shadow Hero - 89. If he reproduces his Gloaming run from the spring he just wins. Loves the track and he is one who can sit forward. 6. Brandenburg - 85. Great effort to score at group 2 level last tiem out. I think he should go forward and use his tactical speed to give him the advantage coming to the turn. No doubt he can win! 7. Prince Fawaz - 77. I do not know what has happened to this horse, but he is not the same one who won the JJAtkins last year. The talent is there, but he seems to be disinterested in racing and while I am a fan of the horse and would love to see him win I can not select him. If he stays at $61 or more I will have something each way on him but can not tip him. 8. Reloaded - 84. Good effort last time out and his only 1600m run was a group 1 placing. Likes the track and looks to be hitting form atthe right time. The barrier is sticky but he is one that will roll forward. Good overs. 9. Kubrick - 79. He is the Sydney version of Dalasan, in other words he is just a length or two off the top level 3yo's. Can run top four but not a winning chance. 10. Pancho - 84. Spring form as good and he showed he had come back well with a very good 4th at Rosehill. If he can sit forward from the gate, he will give some cheek. 11. Conqueror - 78. Not up to the top 3yo's but is an ideal type for the Carbine Club Frank Packer Plate later in the carnival. 12. The Holy One - 74. Looked like he was just rolling aorund for the outing last start. I do not think he is up to these so no chance. 13. Fortress Comamnd - 72. Thought he ran okay in the Hobartville. Not sure he can make up the ground to win here, but can finish top half of the field. 14. Sirmaze - 69. No. 1. No.5 hadow Hero - 89 2. No.6 Brandenburg - 85 3. No.1 Castevecchio - 85 4. No.2 Super Seth - 84 5. No.4 Warning - 84 6. No.8 Reloaded - 84 Add ins for any scratching are No.10 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.5 Shadow Hero $10 each way No.6 Brandenburg Precedent: No.8 Reloaded Randwick City Stakes (this is another good staying field) 1. No.3 - 76 Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.12 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.10 Wild Planet Precedent: No.9 Sirius Suspect Newmarket Handicap ( in race book order) 1. Gytrash - 84. Great win in the Lightning but he has to give weight to some high grade gallopers here. Loves the straight and he can run well, but for me he will not win. 2. Zoutori - 87. Cracker of a run at Caulfield. His spring straight form was very good and I can see him getting a lovely run midstage. The one to beat for me. 3. Despatch - 75. For me he is just not quite up to this grade. He will finish top half of the field. 4. The Inevitable - 82. If he had had a run before this race I would have him on top. For me he is a place hope at best. 5. Bivouac - 84. I am sorry if you backed him, but I thought he ran brilliantly against the severe bias at Caulfield. Can see him getting a lovely run and finish off. 6. Exceedance - 85. I know he hs won fresh, but for me he gets better as the prep goes on. On talent he can win, but it would be a huge effort for him to do so. 7. Halvorsen - 85. Again like Bivouac, a huge run last start. Loves the straight and the 1200m, and I can see hime being hard to hold out. 8. Mystyko - 70. Not here! 9. Tofane - 79. That was a shocking run fresh. Does go betetr second up and she has the ability to win, but she does need to improve here. If she gets to $51 can have something each way on her. 10. Trope - 72. Not up to this race on his previous form! 11. Loving Gaby - 87. Just started to warm up late fresh. I love her at 1200m and she is the a danger. 12. Banquo - 79. Good effort behind Microphone last start. Like him back from 1400m, but he needs to improve to place. 13. Libertini - 80. She ran well fresh but she was a $2.20 favourite. Will not win but can run well. 1. No.2 Zoutori - 87 2. No.11 Loving Gaby - 87 3. No.6 Exceedance - 85 4. No.7 Halvorsen - 85 5. No.5 Bivouac - 84 6. No.15- 75 Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.9 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.6 Fascino $10 each way No.15 Selica Precedent: No.2 Pretty Brazen Australian Cup 1. No.14 Miss Siska - 85. Loves the track, loves 2000m, and sits forward if not leads. Is looking for 3 in a row and no reason she can not win. 2. No.5 Kings Will Dream - 84. Nothing wrong with his formline. Again likes the track, loves 2000m and is coming in off good form. 3. No.2 Avilius - 82. For me he needs a softish track, but his two runs back have been good and gets his chance here. 4. No.4 Harlem - 80. Going better than his last two seasons where he won the cup both times. Drawn to get a lovely run and can do the threepeat. 5. No.7 Fifty Stars - 78. For me he does not bakc up well, but he loves the track and it does look like 2000m will suit. Needs to improve to win but can run top four. 6. No.6 Regal Power - 77. Thought he ran well at Caulfield against the bias. Has form aorund the 3yo Sperstorm who showed he was right up with the east coast crop last week in the Guineas. Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.8 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.13 Miss Siska $10 each way No.8 Mirage Dancer Precedent: No.5 Kings Will Dream Moomba Plate 1. No.8 - 79 2. No.3 - 79 3. Trentham NZ St.Leger 1. No.2 - 85 2. No.4 - 83 3. No.1 - 80 4. No.6 - 78 5. No.3 - 77 6. No.7 - 78 4. No.13- 76 5. No.5 - 75 6. No.6 - 74 Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.10 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Snesei Precedent: No.13 Heart Of Stone NZ Oaks. 1. No.3 Showbeel - 84. Only reason she is on top is that she looks to me to be better suited at the 2400m. Drawn around the speed and so she can sit forward outwide with cover and get every hope. Good overs @ $11.00. 2. No.1 Jennifer Eccles - 82. She has had the wood on them at 2000m, being able to use her acceleration, but the draw, where she gets in the run and the extra 300m tell me she is a definite top four hope but not a winning chance. 3. No.2 Loire - 81. She is going well and I can see her being a definite danger. 4. No.4 Communique - 81. Comes through a very good Sunline Vase win. Looks to be hitting form at just the right time, 2400m looks ideal and she has drawn ideally to get a lovely run. Again she looks overs to my eye. 5. No.7 Karalino - 80. Ran well behind the males two starts back, and then just missed last start chasing hard. Right in the mix. 6. No.5 Bergamot - 78. For me she is going well enough to eb a top four hope. Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.11. Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Showbeel Precedent: No.1 Jennifer Eccles |

Redoutes Choice Stakes 1. No.5 - 80 2. No.6 - 77 3. No.1 - 76 4. No.2 - 75 5. No.4 - 75 6. No.8 - 72 Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 River Night Precedent: No.5 River Night Mornington Cup Prelude 1. No.7 - 78 2. No.4 - 77 3. No.2 - 75 4. No.8 - 74 5. No.6 - 74 6. No.3 - 74 Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.9 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Salsamor Precedent: No.4 Secret Blaze All Star Mile (in race book order) 1. Kolding - 78. Nice effort fresh but his last run was not good. On a more even track he can improve, bjt he needs to just to gte into the top four. 2. Black Heart Bart - 79. Out to a mile suits. Loves the track, drawn to sit forward if not lead and he will give a sight, but I just can not see him beating all his opponents home. 3. Fierce Impact - 87. In career best form. Has moved into WFA class with his efforts this prep, and loves the track, in fact he probably does go betetr the Melbourne way of going. Over the mile he can sit closer and is right in this up to his ears! 4. Regal Power - 82. Showed he was right up to the eastern states galloeprs last week. I do prefer him at 2000m, but he has the talent to win. 5. Streets Of Avalon - 80. If this was 1400m I would say he is near the top raters. Is in good form and I can see him leading into the straight, but the last 100m is his test. He does love the track and if he can dictate the race he could surprise. 6. So Si Bon - 75. We all know his story. He has the talent but, he can not put it together on raceday. 7. Mr Quickie - 78. Again like Regal Power I like him better at 2000m. I also prefer him at Flemington in this grade. No. 8. Star Missile - 72. Coming through the lower grades and the form in those races is not encouraging. 9. Melody Belle - 90. My only concern with her is that if she gets bruied from the gate she will need luck getting a run in the straight. On form for me she is the clear top rater. 10. Aristia - 80. Again like Mr Quickie I prefer her at Flemington. She has the talent but on her spring form she is about two lengths off Melody Belle so that means for me she is a place hope only. 11. Alligator Blood - 86. No knock on his form and his own performances leading in, but the concern for me is that he is at the end of a long campaign and this is by far the ebsy field he has met, so he has to step up again. Can win but will be running without my money again. 12. Dalasan - 76. In the wrong race here and should be running Friday at Moonee Valley over the 2000m. I would love to see him win, because I love the horse and he does get a big field with what should be a strong speed, but only a top four hope at best for me. 13. Superstorm - 84. Fantastic run at Flemington. Unlike Alligator Blood he looks to be on the up fitness wise, and the 1600m at his third run seems to be ideal. If he has come on from his guineas run he can win here! 14. Heart Of Puissance - 72. He has got serious ability but this might have come to soon. No surprise if he ran well, but not win. 15. Flit - 76. She is probably the fourth or fifth best 3yo filly, this season and so for me that means she can not win. 16. Spanish Reef - 79. If she got a run she could sit on speed and give a sight, but top five hope at best for me. 1. No.9 Melody Belle - 90 2. No.3 Fierce Impact- 87 3. No.11 Alligator Blood - 86 4. No.13 Superstorm - 84 5. No.4 Regal Power - 82 6. No.10 Aristia - 80 Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.2 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.9 Melody Belle $10 each way No.13 Superstorm Precedent: No.3 Fierce Impact Anniversary Vase 1. No.2 - 85. 2. No.2 Sweet Deal - 87. Should be able to get across fairly easily, and either lead or sit outside the leader. At this meeting in the last few years it has been an advantage to be up on speed, and I am expecting that to be the case this Saturday. For me she deserves to start favourite. 2. No.5 Pohutukawa - 85. Always seems to find trouble but from the gate she has she should be able to sit midfield, and they usually do fan in the straight in this race. If she gets the clear running late she can win. 3. No.11 Spanish Whisper - 83. Just peaking fitness wise and she should get a good run on speed from the gate. 4. No.16 Acting - 80. Just forget last start. She is not far off Flit and Missile Mantra and with 50 kilos she can give a good sight on the speed. 5. No.7 Sylvia's Mother - 79. She is low flying, however I thought at the end of the 1400m last start she was at her maximum. It is a soft 1500m here, but she will need everything to go right to win here. 6. No.3 Dawn Dawn - 79. Again she is racing well, but she had the perfect run last time out and everything went right. Can run well but for me not win. Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.13. Recommended Bet: $30 win No.2 Sweet Deal $10 each way No.16 Acting Precedent: No.16 Acting Sky High Stakes 1. No.9 - 90 2. No.10- 85 3. No.6 - 82 4. No.1 - 80 5. No.12- 78 6. No.8 - 71 Add ins for any scratchings are No.12 & No.11 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Meuse Precedent: No.7 Paradee William Reid Stakes 1. No.11 Loving Gaby - 85. Gets a lovely run here, and can see her doing exactly what she did here in the spring. The one to beat. 2. No.1 Scales Of Justice - 83. Like him back to 1200m from the 1400m run. He will go forward and should be given every possible hope. 3. No.4 Vital Silver - 82. Has drawn to do exactly what he did in the Manikato and sit right on Loving Gaby. Meets Loving Gaby 3 kilos better from that meeting. His fresh form is sensational including a 2 length fourth to Sunlight in the Gilgai last spring. Not sure how he is $21.00 but he is good overs. 4. No.9 Bivouac - 81. Sensational in the Newmarket but this race looks as though it will develop as the Manikato did in the spring and we all know what happened there. Needs luck but obviously has the talent to win, however $2.25 is poisoned odds! 5. No.10 Exceedance - 80. I thought he ran well in the Newmarket, that is no consolation if you backed him, but I just think he is being aimed at Sydney and that is where we will see his best. He can run top four, but for me he is not a winning hope. 6. No.3 Gytrash - 80. He comes here in fantastic form, however not sure Moonee Valley is where he runs his best races. On his form he can win, but just a top four at best for me. Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.7 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.11 Loving Gaby $10 each way No.4 Vital Silver Precedent: No.11 Loving Gaby Sunline Stakes 1. No.2 - 83 2. No.4 - 81 3. Sorry guys I had $10 each way No.8 Sweet Thomas in the Mornington Cup.
Rosehill Darby Munro Stakes 1. No.1 - 87 2. No.6 - 80 3. No.8 - 79 4. No.9 - 77 5. No.7 - 75 6. No.4 - 74 Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.1 Cosmic Force (if he is in the Galaxy then have the $50 win on No.8 Hilo) Precedent: No.1 Cosmic Force N.E.Manion Cup 1. No.9 - 82 2. No.7 - 80 3. No.1 - 80 4. No.11- 77 5. No.8 - 76 6. No.5 - 74 Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.12 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.9 Supernova Precedent: No.2 Red Cardinal Epona Stakes 1. No.4 - 80 2. No.3 - 78 3. No.6 - 76 4. No.1 - 75 5. No.14- 73 6. No.2 - 72 Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.5 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Aliferous Precedent: No.6 Savacool Ranvet Stakes 1. No.5 - 89 2. No.2 - 85 3. No.1 - 82 4. No.7 - 80 5. No.8 - 79 6. No.6 - 76 Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Verry Elleegant Precedent: No.5 Verry Elleegant George Ryder Stakes 1. No.8 Brandenburg - 86. I see they are aiming him at the Doncaster and if that is the case, along with his form then he is the top rater. Very good form in his two starts this prep and in the small field he gets to either dictate or sit on the lead.Very good overs. 2. No.2 Te Akau Shark - 85. High quality performance last start. Is on the verge of becoming out next elite galloper and deserves to be favorite here. 3. No.7 Super Seth - 82. On his form Yes. However he has had a setback, he is jumping from 1200m to 1500m and he is having hois first run the sydney way. If the track is drier, then that suits him better (as far as having to run the Sydney way first time), he gets back although in this field he could sit closer, and he needs to be at his peak. Love the horse but if he wins this he is the best 3yo of the season! 4. No.3 The Bostonian - 82. i know it may be to late, but never underestimating this galloper ever again. No fluke in his win last start and he can absolutely win here. 5. No.4 Dreamforce - 80. Back to a suitable race here. Goes well at the track, likes the 1500m and suit be right at peak. Not sure he has the class of the top four raters but he can lead and hold on for a place. 6. No.1 Happy Clapper - 80. I though he had his chance last start, but was dominated by the young up and comer. Can run well, but he can not win! Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.9 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.2 Te Akau Shark $10 each way No.8 Brandenburg Precedent: No.8 Brandenburg Rosehill Guineas 1. No.2 Shadow Hero - 86. No reason he can not win again. Can not beleive we are getting better than $3.00. 2. No.3 Warning - 83. Going well and the 2000m is better. Not sure barrier 1 is the best but at least he is drawn to do no work early and as long as he does not get to far back over the extra 400m he can win. 3. No.9 The Holy One - 81. I had to look twice to make sure I had the right horse at Randwick. It was a sensational run and 2000m looks to be beneficial. He can sit forward and if he gets a good run with cover he can definitely surprise. 4. No.1 Castevecchio - 80. 3rd up, 2000m and drawn well, with Craig Williams up, this combination sounds familiar. If he reproduces his Cox Plate run he wins! 5. No.4 Sherwood Forest - 79. I think he will be better suited at randwick, but his 2000m form is very good and he can run well. 6. No.6 Prince Fawaz - 77. I was waiting until he showed me something, and I thought his last 200m at Randwick was very good. He has the talent, and maybe he has been looking for the 2000m. If there is any money for him have a sheckel each way. Add ins for any scratchings are No.10 & No.7 Recommended Bet: $20 win No.3 Warning $10 win No.11 The Holy One $10 each way No.6 Prince Fawaz Precedent: No.7 Reloaded The Galaxy 1. No.1 Pierata - 94. This guy has been scorching the trials. Just missed Nature Strip in this race last year and although he has a huge weight he carries weight really well. 2. No.7 Miss Leonidas - 84. I must be missing something. She was 3.5 lengths off Nature Strip, and less than a length off Redzel last start. She meets Jungle Edge 2 kilos better for being a half length away, and I actually think the 1100m is more suitable. Surely at $41 she is worth an each bet at least. 3. No.15 Cosmic Force - 82. One of the better 3yo sprinters and he looks well placed here. Absolute danger! 4. No.14 Anaheed - 80. Good filly but does need to imrpove off her Oakleigh Plate run. Top four. 5. No.4 Savatiano - 80. In hot form and no doubt she comes here with a undeniable chance. Not quite sure the drop from 1300m to 1100m is ideal but can run well. 6. No.5 Deprive - 78. Good effort fresh but he looked to me to need the run and he needs to be right at his best to win this. If it was at Randwick he would be a winning chance, but for me he is a top four hope. Add ins for any scratchings are No.12 & No.3 Recommended Bet: $30 win No.15 Cosmic Force (if he is not here then No.1 Pierata) $10 each way No.7 Miss Leonidas Precedent: No.7 Miss Leonidas Birthday Card Quality 1. No.8 - 82 2. No.3 - 80 3. No.19- 78 4. No.9 - 76 5. No.1 - 74 6. No.11- 72 Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.16 Recommended Bet: $50 win No.19 Kiamichi Precedent: No.11 Anjana. Good luck and lots of sucess for everyone! |
