Werent we all  LOL  Then covid shut him down, and here he comes out of it Clap
For any of us,,,we know how hard it is to win,,,,so many things can go wrong.
To win 3 in a row is just amazing.
Had to laugh at him down the straight.  "Oh gelati,,,what do I do now "  but thankfully Brendon set him right without bashing the crap out of him.

I think the most satisfying aspect would have to be our knowledge of how much diligence went into selecting the right mares to suit locally available stallions at an affordable price, combined with ensuring environmental factors such as pasture content & feed are as close to perfect as is humanly possible.
Many congrats on the ensuing successes & many they continue Mr & Mrs slowdown

thankyou everyone for your kind words. Gay you are absolutely right. many people have given us advice on this site re breeding/mares etc and I need to say a big thanks to them. the other big part as you mention is my wife who goes to an amazing amount of trouble to balance our horse diets by pasture testing, mineral balancing etc . We are now seeing the results of her hard work. Of course the other great choice we have made is asking Bill and Mary Ryan to train our horses. most seasons they finish between 20-25% winners to runners. an amazing effort . thanks again everyone. Cheers Slowdown.

Just for interest, Malandrina (dam of both winners) has a yearling filly by Needs Further.

Wonder if it's keeper or one bound for the sales next year.

Big day for me, my dear old dad would describe me as a flea punter Wink All upped the golden pair with Galway Girl. Mainly cause its an Ed Sheeran  song and was on my Excelebration fillys name list. Then backed Skelton because he looked a chance and hes another Excelebration

thanks everyone and glad there was some winning on the punt. Second Chance the filly will stay in our hands. we are expecting a big downturn next sale but also she was a december foal.

plan for Lionel (Renegade) a month off with a princess spell then prepare for the Devonport Cup.

Rebel - not sure . will pull the diary out shortly.

thanks again for supporting our horses. the plan has always to have fun. reckon they are doing the job.....

No more than hoping for a pleasing run.
