Recently bought into GARBHAN who runs around at Tatura today in the 4th.
About a 20-1 pop but ran ran a much better race at Benalla last start.
Gets blinkers on today which have been on all week and horse seems to be sparked up a bit.
Don't mind that Dylan Dunn jumps on board either.

He had some decent form when he was racing in NSW.
The 1600m will be OK, he'll get over 2000m+ no worries.
Drawn the outside is a positive as he likes to be on the outside of horses.
Just hoping to get into a nice rhythm and be thereabouts at the end.

Well worth a few bob each way Wink

Thanks GAJ Smile

He didn't start well but then took charge and went to the lead which is what we instructed Dunn to do if there was no speed.
Didn't get much peace though in front but still held the challengers off but there was always that thing of Mahers that had the gun run and got out to nail us on the line.

Very very good run though. He'll get over much further and hopefully if all is well he'll be in the winners circle very soon.

THE CARD PLAYERS goes around at 20-1 today at Mornington.
First run at the course and over the distance.
More than likely we'll instruct Poy to just follow Stokes' horse if it's just behind the leaders. That would be ideal for us.

He'll run well though.

Best wishes GAJ with I'll Miss You at Eagle Farm tomorrow.

I hope the wet track does not cut your chances (and I REALLY hope it rains, both at EF and south into NSW).

GARBHAN looked good today, took over 200m out only to get nailed right on the line. Cry Ouch

Fitness is building, still probably a run or two before hits peak fitness but today hurt. He looked the winner.

Shout out to a friend who I hope is still on here that has CONVERGING going round in the 4th at Hamilton tomorrow. I'll be on track too, should be a good anchor leg into a few multis.

Thanks Mumtaz,
Not herself today, had the car park ally again (My Better half thinks its rigged LOL), only a short trip to the first bend and she had to go back, Jockey said she didn't have her usual finish just wacked away, paddock time we think. (MHO she is a good open country horse, just a bit short of town class, no where else to go now except the rare open country races. We love her to bits, she given us plenty of good times)
We had a little rain here but need more, heading to Murwillumbah on Tuesday with our new hopeful stayer, starting him up in a 1500m race, his name is Rock Pearl (NZ) hard to get a line on him at this stage.

Thanks GAJ

Hopefully if she spells now she MIGHT get some grass and MIGHT beat some of the heat.

Your new stayer looks to have some (variable) ability.  Hopefully he does better with a new state and trainer.  But at l least you know the ability is there.  All the best with him.

Great result for the lad.  Clap

Believe Kingy's had some illness problems in the past.  And he'll be a bit of a mess tomorrow, if self inflicted on this occasion.  Big smile

Cheers SkyDancer & SC.

Thought he was gonna get done on the  line today but he's got a great will to win.
I stayed at home again today and that might be the omen.
Always feels good to string a couple of wins together, even if it  is at Donald on a Sunday.

Perhaps 1 more if he pulls up OK but pretty sure he'll go to the paddock now for a well earned rest.
Hoping that this time next year he's running in these country cups.
